does it make me gay if i like one other person of the same sex, but is not physically attracted to other females?

2006-06-15 17:59:36 · 9 answers · asked by MzChamillinator 5

Ok, I am 99% sure I am a lesbian. I have only had sex with one girl and that was in a three way, but I loved it. I keep trying to tell myself I would hate it with any other girl, but I know I wouldn't. Also, my friends...I don't think they'd take it well. And my best friends mom is so, so homophobic! She has been like my mom since my mom died and if I told her I was gay she would tell me it's ok and talk trash about me to everyone else. I don't want to lose her too...even though she isn't my favorite person, she's my only mother figure. I am in my 30's...I should be grown up enough to just do it, but I am so, so scared. I wonder if I will ever be happy if I don't though. But what if I come out and get a girlfriend and then I realize I really am straight? This is so confusing!!!

I'm a big supporter of same-sex marriages and alternate lifestyles, but I still haven't found any websites/studies proving the popular claim of homosexuality being present at birth.

A bi sexual person is one who likes both males and females the same. Ususally he/she doesn't prefer one over the other. Some argue that there is no such thing as a bisexual person, that, that person is automatically GAY. Is this true or false? Please state your opinion.

I mean people ask "why do gays...?" or "is it gay...?" "my best friend's a gay..." ... etc. Why can't people acknowledge that we are infact people too, and homosexuality is just our lifestlye, how we live... it's not like we're aliens from space or creatures of the deep... I dunno... it bugs me that people think that we're the only people "different" in the world... there's a thing call individuality... everyone's different... not just the outcasts people refer to as "gays".

I'm gay myself... and I'm happy and proud to be who I am. I accept and respect everyone... is it that hard for the world to get along ?

I have homework for those who can't or wont accept us for who we are... listen to John Lennon's "Imagine". He had a vision for the world to get along...

I'd appreciate no gay bashing etc. If you do, I'll report you.

Thanks.

there are people who were not homosexual as kids. But when they grew older, they discovered that they prefer the same sex when it comes to relationship. I'm not a homo but my boyfriend is a lesbian...

What are the 3 main causes of homophobia...and possibly the effects of those causes? I'm writing a paper and I'm having a little trouble with this one, lol. You don't have to elaborate I just need some ideas. Thanks!

There's this guy at work that i really like. He doesn't know I'm gay. I've been holding it in for quite some time now. Some guys on here said that it was the best thing to do. So today I finally let loose and asked him out for drinks this weekend. Should I just let it all out this wekend or not? I might not get to go out with him again. He's straight and he has a girlfriend. I can't seem to move away from what I'm feeling coz he says the nicest things to me. Eg. "you have such a kind heart" or "I've never met anybody like you, you're the most sensitive guy I know", etc. I fee like I'm going crazy! Please help?

It gets so repetitive, and after a while, just annoying. You get gay people saying yes and straight people saying no; it's not always the case but you know what I mean. Anyways, I have though of a better way to ask that stupid question.

If you are gay, were you born gay?
If you are straight, were you born straight?

BTW, I am gay and was born that way.

lead on someone they would never be interested in? He said he is embarrased of the truth, but he told me he had a crush and was flattered that I cared so much and so forth, but then later tells me he is gay. I don't get it, why did he tell me he had a crush then? Don't need any smart a** answers please. I love him very much and I am just hurt that he led me on.

I have been with my boyfriend now for a little over five months. A lot of things have changed in our lives since then, but we're still together. At first, everything was great with us. We spent a lot of time together and things always seemed peachy. But then, we began to fight...a lot. We fought constantly. Eventually, we always got over it, and things were wonderful with us again...but then, of course, we'd fight. We both love each other very, very much, yet we are very different people. He is extremely independent ''mr. 'I'll do it myself' man'', and he has been conplaining about being smothered by me. I admit, I have the tendency to be a bit clingy, but I enjoy doing things with him. Recently, our fights have been becoming more frequent. I hate it...it sucks...I want them to stop!!! We just had another huge fight this morning, and now he won't talk to me...I want to resolve this...what should I do?! If you want more detail, let me know. Please help! I love himso much!
