It means
gleeful, jovial, glad, joyous, happy, cheerful, sprightly, blithe, airy, light-hearted; vivacious, frolicsome, sportive, hilarious. Gay, jolly, joyful, merry describe a happy or light-hearted mood. Gay suggests a lightness of heart or liveliness of mood that is openly manifested: when hearts were young and gay. Jolly indicates a good-humored, natural, expansive gaiety of mood or disposition: a jolly crowd at a party. Joyful suggests gladness, happiness, rejoicing: joyful over the good news. Merry is often interchangeable with gay: a merry disposition; a merry party; it suggests, even more than the latter, convivial animated enjoyment.

A man trying to understand the nature of God ask him:" God, how long is a million years to you?" God answered: "A million years is like a minute." Then the man asks: "God, how much is a million dollars to you?" God replies " a million dollars is like a penny." Finally the man asks "God, could I you give me a penny?" And God said, "In a minute."

Asalamualaikum.

There is a certain person, this person is a close relative of mine. She is kind of two-faced. For a few days we'll be all nice and friendly but then after a while she goes and backbites about me. If she doesn't like me, then that doesn't bother me but what does bother me is that when she backbites then other people start treating me differently.
What is the best thing to do? I can't avoid her becuz she is a close relation.

The kids letter comes back stamped Dream on, chester.
Kid asks for a new bike, gets a pack of smokes.
Along with his presents, Santa leaves a hefty bill for shipping and handling.
By the time he gets to your house all he has left is foam packing.
Instead of "naughty" and "nice" Santa has him on the stupid list.
Labels on all your kids toys reads "Straight from Craptown."
Four words: "Off my lap, Tubby!"

It's like no Christian that believes in eternal torment thinks it's weird. Love + Eternal Torment = Acceptable Behavior For An Omniscient, Omnipotent, Infinitely Loving Being? NOT.

So, are ANY of you Christians (at least the ones that BELIEVE there is an eternal torment) angered, disappointed or at the least even slightly confused by this apparent discrepancy/ conundrum/ profound paradox? Do any of you feel any emotion on this subject?

Ask if there is only one emergency exit, grin and say; "Boy! I bet this entire floor would be in trouble if someone barricaded that."
After detailing your greatest achievement, qualify with "of course I was totally hammered at the time."

All cultures have always had gods -or a god

All through history there has been a religon wherever we found people -

And those gods all had somthing to say - they all had an instruction list of some sort even if it was as simple as bring me food or as complex as a specific code of behaviour

What has it been in man in our society our cultures for thousands of years and all over the globe - a need a belief of or in a god(s)

And why is it so seldom looked at in this light ?
