Slight problem.
Suicide is selfish. The person is only thinking of himself or herself and how to end it all and end all the pain. The person is not thinking of friends or family or anyone else. It is all about the suicidee.
Sacrifice the person is thinking of OTHERS. The person is not thinking of himself or herself but of someone ELSE or OTHER people.
Someone has a bad day at school. He goes home and says, My life sucks! No one likes me! I got an F in Algebra! I'm going to end it all! He makes a plan and hangs himself 1 week later. His friends and family attend the funeral. The mother blames herself and the father is angry at God. His best friend is convinced if he had done something different or said something, it would never have happened. The suicidee killed himself for selfish reasons.
Now then there is sacrifice. Soldiers have died and sacrificed their lives for the freedom and good of America. We would not say they committed suicide because what they did/are doing is not selfish. Suicide is ALWAYS selfish. Sacrifice is NEVER selfish.
Jesus sacrificed His life. He died UNSELFISHLY for our sins and then rose again. He didn't die to end it all. He died to save our necks.
No SELFISH suicide involved.

I advise to no longer devote suicide in any way shape or sort. i think the divinity is interior of each and every residing soul. i'll be user-friendly, I easily have additionally seen suicide till now in my existence, yet i've got found out the main suitable thank you to handle it somewhat is to do slightly soul-looking. do no longer do it.

Trying to claim that because he was executed as a defense from suicide is ridiculous.
Let's explain it this way. 2,000 years ago there were Roman Soldiers that enforced the law, today we have cops to do that job. Roman Soldiers were the police of that age.
According to the religious myth of Jesus he knew what was happening, had himself intentionally arrested fully knowing his fate, that he would be crucified and die. He willingly pursued this path as opposed as to pursuing his survival.
We have a common event these days called Suicide by Cop.
When you account for the alleged actions of Jesus with his fore knowledge and take into account the role of Roman soldiers one can only conclude that Jesus committed suicide by cop.
So if suicide is a sin, then jesus is burning in hell like all of the other sinners that commit suicide, by catholic rules that is.

What Christ did wasn't suicide...He didn't kill himself...It was sacrifice...when He came to Earth, He knew He would be prosecuted for His teachings...but His teachings and the end result of His sacrifice were worth it in His eyes.

Jesus was executed via crucificion. He didn't actively kill himself and so didn't commit suicide.

And, here we have another who can't read...."Unbelievable!" Would you care for someone to "send you a Bible for Christmas?" or, tutor you in the art of finding things out on your own? "Peace!"

You gotta love a good god conundrum.
In this case, though, I'm inclined to believe that it is man's interpretation that says that suicide is a sin, not god's.
