Big bang: rock formed by dust came, hit the earth and life began
God Creation: God created us.

Which one make more sense?
And if the theory that God created us mak eless sense than the big bang, does it automatically make the Big Bang a fact?

example, if I say :"I saw a cat running and then the cat jumped as long as 1 miles." or "I saw a cat running and the cat jumped two blocks."

The second mak emore sense, but that doe snot mean that first one is true. They both are senseless.

Christian Brothers and sisters,
Jesus Christ pbh visited the temple , worshipped there and had discussions with the Jews over there, .........
But during the time he visited the temple "Did he put up any graven images in the temple" ?

Or did he give any such instructions "of using graven images" to be followed in the future?

If so, could you give me the reference.... with chapter and verse number.........

I request you to please quote only "Jesus Christ "pbh..........

And if you cannot provide these details then how come you claim to be "Bible Believers" because your actions go against the Bible ?

It is clearly mentioned in the Bible extracts given below that it was a commandment
and
Jesus Christ pbh himself told not to break the least of the commandemnts.........

People seem to apply this logic to premarital sex and homosexuality. If any of God's laws change "with the times", why not ALL of them?

My boyfriend told me a while ago that it drives him crazy when I wear panties that keep riding up and I am constantly picking them out of my butt. I had a couple of panties that did this quite bad in high school and he told me that he loves it particularly when I try to pick it subtly in public trying not to be noticed.
I stopped wearing those panties a while ago and was about to throw them away when he told me how he felt about this. He begged me (it was very cute) to keep them so I did and I wear them for him when we are intimate. A couple of times now I have also warn them again in public - he asked me to, and I gave it a go. I actually really enjoyed it, teasing him picking my wedgies but also trying not to be noticeable, it made me feel very sexy. It's a fun, kinky game and I like it.

Generally of course I wear thongs and panties that fit me properly.

I'm just wondering if anyone thinks this is weired? I'm happy to keep doing this for him, do you think I should?

And then Luke has many more - 41 generations?

The names in the genealogies are also different.

Which one was lying? Isn't lying a sin? What sort of sin is lying in a sacred text? Lying about the "Son of God"?

The Bible is the unlitimate proof of the non-existence of God.

I tell her about Christian things I do and she listens with interest. She tells me about things she does that are Christians consider to be a sin, but I don't judge her, I offer compassion and rational advice.

She has never criticised my decision to become a Christian, I have never criticised her for not being one.

Do you think this is just an anomaly or do you think that most Christians and Atheists can have mutually supportive relationships, but we never hear about them because of all the arguing?

I was told there is a parable in the bible, told by Jesus, that involves a vineyard keeper and his two sons. He told his sons to pick the grapes, one agreed to but never did and the other refused to but later did. Anyone familiar with that story and know where I can find it? Thanks.

If I'm right in thinking that Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Heaven will only accommodate a certain number of "saved" souls, where does that number come from?

Also if a part of your belief means that you are supposed to spread your beliefs, i.e. calling on people at home, what will happen when the Jehovah's Witnesses have reached the quota (i.e. enough souls are "saved" and Heaven will be full? At that point will you no longer have to spread the word?
Many thanks.

I consider myself a man of science. Throughout my life, I have alternately believed in God, but eventually, the scientist in me tells me there's no such thing and that God is merely a character in an old story and nothing more. I've grappled with this quite a bit to figure out if there is a middle ground where science and faith can at least meet halfway, but the issue seems to require an "all or nothing" type of answer.

Before anyone quotes me scripture, I'm QUITE familiar with that book, since I come from a family where one side is Southern Baptist (I'm talking "olde time religion" kind of Baptist) and the other side is Catholic.

What are your thoughts on this?

IS there a middle ground or compromise between the two principles?

Last time I checked, we are animals too. 4.5 billion people don't believe in the Bible (and it's just a book). No animal even knows what the Bible is. Is this what you believe in - slavery? You control living, feeling, thinking beings against their will, and they never gave you permission to be controlled.

They accuse Atheists of being "mean spirited".They question why Atheists come to a religious forum, even though it is "religion AND spirituality" which many Atheists are spiritual and many more Atheists are directly or indirectly affected by religion as well. They see Atheists as an affront to their beliefs and whenever an Atheist points out their views, the Atheist is accused of insulting believers.

Now, I know what some of you might say.Atheists post this and that which says horrible things.True.But so do believers.I have seen an equal amount of nasty posts from believers and Atheists alike. But the point of all of this, is an exchange of ideas through questions and answers. Not, "you believe in God! Me too! Oh yeah". Why don't many of them get that?

we've all heard the story about the kid crying to his mom about how god doesn't answer prayers. he tells his mom of something that he really wanted. only to later find out that he didn't get it. his mom explains to him that god does answer every prayer, it's just that this time his answer was "no". my question is sort of two parts. one, is there anyway to know whether or not god will answer yes, or is it pretty much left up to chance? and two, when god does answer no, does this mean he has influenced every factor that goes into you getting what you want so you don't get them, or does he leave it up to chance as well?

In my city, many of our best, most intelligent Pagans are homosexuals, often after they were run away from the Christianity they were born in. For this I am happy, because these, my pagan brothers and sisters, have really enriched the Pittsburgh Pagan scene with new ideas, ritual, and specific perpective on the gods that I, a straight white man, don't often have. How about in your community?
