I tried to copy the CD that one of the brother's downloaded onto my computer. Was going to bring it into work and print it off for tonight's meeting, because our printer at home doesn't work. But apparently I cannot open the software here.....and need to print. Can anyone help me.
Thanks!

Although the software is available at no charge, the license agreement for Watchtower Library specifically precludes a user from allowing the software or its data to be accessible on a computer network.

Perhaps the questioner is unaware that Watchtower Library 2007 has already been released. It includes everything from WTL2006, as well as the 2007 issues of all periodicals and the new publication "Follow the Christ".

Interestingly, Jehovah's Witnesses have always taken advantage of the latest technology to further their ministry.

Between 1910 and 1914, Jehovah's Witnesses incrementally released a monumental presentation of color pictures, moving pictures, and sound entitled "Photodrama of Creation" (excerpts are available on YouTube and other places). It seems remarkable to recognize that this film is nearly a century old, in color with synchronized sound!

Before and after that, Jehovah's Witnesses were already experimenting with networks of telephone tie-ins and radio broadcasts. Even in those early years of radio and telephone, those early Witnesses sometimes presented simultaneous live audio of a bible discourse to perhaps of a million listeners.

By the 1920s and 1930s, Jehovah's Witnesses designed and manufactured portable record players which their ministers carried from door to door. The minister could play record albums of bible discourses for householders in rural areas where transportation was still mostly by walking and horse. Of course, the recorded discourse was followed up by an offer of bible-based literature and a continuing personal discussion.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Jehovah's Witnesses actually designed, built, and programmed their own custom computers to perform phototypesetting in dozens of different language (no commercial system had yet been developed, and no computer platform had yet emerged as a clear standard). In the late 1980s, they reprogrammed this software to run on standard high-end PC computers, allowing quality translation work to be performed even by a remote missionary on a laptop, perhaps miles from air conditioning or a power grid. These technology innovations enable Jehovah's Witnesses to release The Watchtower simultaneously in 145 languages (another dozen or so languages are not simultaneous).

While there were other early film releases, the 1990s saw a batch of new video and DVD releases by Jehovah's Witnesses. Soon, many short videos were made available on the official websites of Jehovah's Witnesses (a selection are listed at the end of this answer).

Jehovah's Witnesses will continue to utilize whatever technologies seem appropriate to better educate their adherents, students, and the public about issues related to true Christianity and the bible. What better choice of print, sound, video, and internet virtual "association" than that produced by the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses?

(1 Corinthians 15:33) Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits.
