I think you are confusing the issue. The Big Bang, like almost every single piece of scientifically analysed evidence ever, contradicts the Genesis story of the world being magically created 6-odd thousand years ago. The Big Bang does not contradict the idea that the universe was created by God, because no one knows why the Big Bang happened. The Big Bang was the process of the happening, yet it must have had a cause itself, yet unknown. As to the evidence for the Big Bang, it is overwhelming. As to the evidence for God being the cause of the Big Bang, or the creator of the universe, there is no evidence at all. It is entirely possible that this universe is a simulation on a computer of an intelligent race, in which case, would you call the programmer God? Religious people can't even say what God is, so how can you claim actions by god?

(Of course Creation) Like with every theory anyone can make what they believe sound like the truth. With the BBT they try to explain how our world came into existence not how matter and the laws came into being. So when you ask them that they say the BBT does not try to explain it and think they won the argument. In another few years a new theory will be made up to explain how or being came into existence. Creation will stay the same if you interpret the bible right. Thousands of artifacts have helped prove the bible to be correct in it's history so why not believe it at the beginning? We have tons of proof that proves the earth is not millions of years old but not many people hear about it. Society tries to hide the Creation side because they think that Evolution is important or something. If you look at the universe and how complex even the simplest organism you should find that it is extremely complex and could not have formed by chance. Atheists don’t call it chance because they think that natural selection is something different then chance but they are indeed the same thing.

Until you can answer where god came from without resorting to special pleading then almost anything else makes more sense.
Meanwhile there is plenty of evidence for the big bang. Red shift, background microwave radiation etc. How does the God Did It hypothesis explain these things. Oh, that's right - it does not. God Moves In Mysterious Ways - so don't even think about asking questions.
Does science get it wrong? Yes, plenty of times. But when new evidence comes up science admits it's mistakes and comes up with a better explanation.
When creationists get new evidence that shows their position wrong they ignore it, say it is not true, distort it into a straw man form (as you have tried to do). Anything to avoid admitting that they are wrong.
To use your simile:
Religion says: God made the cat jump two blocks. No one saw it, but god told me that he did, so trust me in this.
Science says: Somehow this cat appears to have jumped two blocks. Here is the video of it doing it, here is the weather report for that day, and a whole load of other data. It would appear that the cat got caught up in the edge of a tornado and was carried the two blocks.
Just because you do not understand science does not mean it is wrong. It is a shame you chose to just ignore the facts rather than trying to actually educate yourself and gain the understanding.

First off, you're Big Bang Theory description is horribly inaccurate.
While to me the Big Bang Theory, followed up by the evolution theory, makes more sense than some all powerful being snapping his fingers and making everything in 7 days, neither can be proven.
The Big Bang Theory/Evolution Theory have a lot of science in their favor, which makes me lean in their direction. But still they are just theories, and cannot be proven.
The Creationist view in MY mind (not your mind, mine, other commenters) is also a theory, and cannot be proven. Just because there is an old book that says its true, there is no scientific evidence to back it up.
If the bible is right, the world is roughly 10,000 years old. But science can prove that the world is roughly 4-5 billion years old, so that screws the creationist theory right there.
I think science disproves Creationism, but that doesn't necessarily make Big Bang true either. Only time will tell.
Edit: To Matt's Girl - Are you serious? We ARE still evolving. For instance, humans, on average, are like six inches taller today than they were 200 years ago. That's evolution.

The Big Bang is a theory derived from scientific observation of the universe. There is actual evidence to back it up. We can see that galaxys are moving away from us and that they all started at one point in space. There is other evidence too, too much to go into here.
Creation: A story dreamt up by man to try and make sense of the world.
But Creation being less credible doesn't have any relevance on whether the Big Bang is fact or not.
Note, a scientific "theory" is not conjecture as the word means in the common usage. It's a mathematical/logical TESTABLE model, which is kept around right until the moment it is proven false.

You are wrong about Big bang, try make it seem ridiculous. Even if could disprove Big Bang, not prove naive creation myths, just mean both wrong. Life not begin by rock hit earth. My lover have older books, show Big bang against Steady State theories, Big Bang has more proof by now. No proof at all for any creation myths, Biblle have 2 different ones, which you believe. Your analogy is very bad. Jumping cats not involve in cosmology, if you say anything of cats, let it be logical. Big Bang has much scientific evidence support it, cats jump 2 blocks has no logic at all. You futile rant only show me big bang is true, you have no logic at all.

There are many definitions to the phrase{ make sense} all available evidence seems to prove that nobody really knows the answer, remember, the big bang is still just as unproven as creation and they very well could be the same thing

The Big Bang theory does not say that something came from nothing. Only certain creation stories say that.
I would say the Big Bang makes more sense because most (if not all) creation stories violate the laws of thermodynamics, but the big bang theory doesn't.

Big Bang does not necessarily rule out creation and vice versa. Could it be that God was the one that put everything in place for the Big Bang to happen? Big Bang does not explain how what happened before it or what caused it. Can God be the eternal self-sufficient cause of the universe and use the Big Bang to set things in motion?

I believe that God created the Universe through the use of something that we might call the big bang. Everything is just too amazing for this to be an accident
