I do!!
I believe all things work together for the GOOD of those who love the Lord.
So even when we don't understand Why....remember God does.

I asked this before.
If you mean like fate or destiny, no. If you mean that the outcome of certain events cause other events, then yes.
Many people seem to think destiny takes a hand whenever some interesting or fortuitous coincidence occurs. They overlook the fact that the vast majority of the time, events occur that do not seem (and are not) related in any way.
I heard a fascinating story about a holocaust survivor and a girl who helped him survive. Decades late they were set up with each other on a blind date in NY. It's a terrific story, but really, just a coincidence. What about the millions of people whose paths cross, and they DON'T suddenly meet up again, decades later? Well, that's not a very interesting story, but it is far more common.

Another way of putting it, there is a reason for everything. Look close enough and you'll see that there was a cause, maybe one or several factors. Lots of unplanned things seem to happen for a good reason if you wait long enough to see the final outcome. Because the universe just doesn't fly apart in total chaos because so much goes wrong, then things must be happening for a good reason and holding together well by invisible hands.

Yep I sure do.Many times in the past I wanted something really bad to happen but when it didn't I was upset.A few weeks later I would find out if that would have happened something worse would have come out of it.I really do believe everything happens for a reason and when a door closes that just means a new one opens.

Yes and No. Obviously some things are the end result of things that happened before them. But not everything that happens, happens because of something that happened before it. Nevertheless, there is still a reason the new thing happened. Like someone, or ourselves, trying to manipulate someone else to our own wants.

Yes I do. I think that everything happens the way it's supposed to happen. Most of us don't have lives like in the movies, that we know what happens next. It's just the way it is. How we perceive things, what we do, what are actions are. Are all based upon someones actions and how we look at things.

I believe that most things happen for a reason. Some we bring on ourselves others are tests of faith, personality, etc. You just have to look at the situation. Is there anything that was done on my part that would have prevented this situation from happening?

Yes or it would not have happen
1 - a bird flies in front of your car to get to the other side of the road
2 - The man gets in front of you at the stop light. He's in a hurry
3 - You went out side to get the mail and dropped you car keys in the front yard. All the while you look for them you think how stupid you are to do something like this. And you are a professor of Law in Cincinnati U.C. No one can avoid accidents or mistakes.

No, I don't.
God does not control everything that happens on earth. People cause most of the harm or evil that is done and you can't blame that on God. Somethings like natural disasters are random.
God does help bring good from evil, enables us to overcome bad happenings and can make our lives meaningful no matter how bad they are or once were.

Yes. But not in ways other than, "here is the cause." I don't believe the universe revolves around me nor do I believe all material is here to serve us. The folly in the human mind is that all things must somehow be connected to the all-important self.
edit:
I should have said MANY people's minds. Many others are not so selfish.

I do now. I believe everything that has happened to me has prepared me for specific challenges that have come up in my life. It's eerie at times to see how everything comes together from an infinite web of cause and effect.
