At a holiday program in an elementary school in North Carolina, a physical fight broke out among the students parents after a father approached a student about pushing his daughter.

Mothers were throwing punches and shouting obsenities (it was caught on tape) and the melee went on for about ten minutes.

As adults, how does one teach their children what is and isn't socially acceptable if one cannot follow it themselves?

I have asked several questions on here relating to god or the bible and I have noticed that people that don't believe in the bible or god tend to answer with alot of hostility (Capitol letters, exclamation points and such). I gotta be honest with ya, it doesn't help the case that god doesn't exist. I'ts like horns are coming out. I'm just sayin'.

I saw a dart board at the walmart for $10. I was gonna get... but then I imagined holes all in my walls. My kids said to me earlier that they never miss the board at their moms house.

Am I best off passing on this item. I saw a soft tip electronic one there too.... but I remember from childhood that the darts usually pop right off of those after impact.

My problem is when I was younger I believed in one god?
But many issues throughout the years my faith is pretty much gone
because it is just not conceiveable to me that god can exist and be letting stuff happen to this world that has happened to it and stuff that has happened to my family.
Its inconceivable to me that there is a divide,such as heaven and hell?
Ive had people tell me that I have to accept it because the bible says so,I want to believe,I want to be able to trust that its all true,But how do you go back to the faith stuff when there is no faith?
I know this may sound nuts,but would really appreciate some real answers.
What is my title now?
I cant say christian,
I cant say atheist.
I cant even say believer?
DONT FORGET I AT ONE TIME COULD SAY I WAS A CHRISTIAN

Do you feel sorry for someone who smokes a hit of crack and then his heart explodes and dies? I don't. He knew the risks of the drug, but still did it anyway. Same thing with Holloway. She was in a foreign country, Aruba. She was 18 from Alabama. What, her parents never taught her to not go off on a secluded beach alone with 3 foreigners on a resort island 1000's of miles away from home at 3 am? What she did was stupid. She got drunk, and left her girlfriends behind and then went off with 3 guys to a beach. I feel for her parents, and it sucks she died. But, when you do stupid things, bad things can happen. Like, you don't take a bath, and then put a hairdryer in the tub, you will get electrocuted and die. Didn't she learn these lessons as a kid. What good is teaching your kids lessons, if their just going to go off to some island and break all the rules you taught them?

You remember how Crocodile Dundee went on walk-a-bout? Is that what Noah did? I think that it's pretty cool that the billions of animal species on Earth were all within walking distance from his ark. I'd hate to think that those little penguins had to walk a long ways after swimming up from the Antarctic. Those short stubby little penguin legs would get mighty tired. An Elderly couple was celebrating their sixtieth anniversary.

The couple had married as childhood sweethearts and had moved back to their old neighborhood after they retired.

Holding hands they walked back to their old school.

It was not locked, so they entered, and found the old desk they'd shared, where Andy had carved "I love you, Sally."

On their way back home, a bag of money fell out of an armored car, practically landing at their feet.

Sally quickly picked it up, but not sure what to do with it, they took it home. There, she counted the
money--fifty-thousand dollars.

Andy said, "We've got to give it back."

Sally said, "Finders keepers." She put the money back in the bag and hid it in their attic.

The next day, two FBI men were canvassing the
neighborhood looking for the money, and knocked on the door.

"Pardon me, but did either of you find a bag that fell out of an armored car yesterday?"

I have posted the subject of confession of sins to a priest in the past, and every time there are two overwhelming responses:
1) Its not scriptual
2) Only Catholics do that

Well, regarding #1: I always post a link with ALL the scripture references, but nobody bothers to read it.

SO MY 1st QUESTION IS: Will you read this link and constructively comment on it?

Regarding #2: In fact, over 80% of Christians DO confess their sins to a priest.

SO MY 2nd QUESTION IS: Are you aware that Eastern Orthodox Christians, Traditional Anglican Christians, Coptic Christians, ALONG with Catholic Christians all practice this Sacrament of Confession, and, combined, this represents over 80% of ALL Christians?

I stop believing after seeing what all the bullcrap religon has caused in the world, and the "god" they justifiy their actions with.
But for me, its mainly the [moslty] concieted christians that think they're the best in the world.
and I LOVE how they call other religons violent [example: Islam] when their very own religon has the same stuff in the old testament. Old testament is STILL a part of the bible, so you can't justify it with the new.
So what turned you atheist?

I only have a 1250 on my SAT I thought I will do better since I really prepared for it, how the hell am I going to get to college??? nOt even in a community college my GPA is not that good either, does this mean I am going to be a ditchdigger???
