I saw a dart board at the walmart for $10. I was gonna get... but then I imagined holes all in my walls. My kids said to me earlier that they never miss the board at their moms house.

Am I best off passing on this item. I saw a soft tip electronic one there too.... but I remember from childhood that the darts usually pop right off of those after impact.

I'd pass on that to avoid the holes. Kids will say what they want you to believe if it gets them what they want. Get them the velcro stick ones instead LOL

Hang the dart board in the basement or the garage. Or put a piece of plywood up behind it. Or learn to spackle. They'll probably miss, but little holes aren't hard to fix with a bit of spackle and paint.

Dart board: good idea.

Piercing darts: bad idea. "Never" is a relative term.

Go magnetic, or get the one you saw but invest in a BIG cork board all around it and put it up in a place that it won't matter if it gets a bit... holey.
