I only have a 1250 on my SAT I thought I will do better since I really prepared for it, how the hell am I going to get to college??? nOt even in a community college my GPA is not that good either, does this mean I am going to be a ditchdigger??? I want to be an officer in the Marines but now I feel like I am not gonna make it, I wanna kill myself. God has a way of doing things like this to me

but last time I checked you need a four year degree in order to become an officer, and I won't get in if I don't have a good SAT score

You mean God, the Creator of the Universe, and everything which exists therein; including pranks, gags, and the notion of a humor?
I don't know why God would play with you, although, I know why another entity would want to... You are an easy target. You take things MUCH too seriously. You are a quitter (suicide comment), you talk of being an officer in the Marine Corps, but you can't even find the inspiration to continue your quest. How can you hope to lead others, when their very lives depend on your cool head and fighting spirit?
Seems to me that God may be doing you a favor, knowing you better than you know yourself. Maybe he is saving all the lives of the people you want to lead, by stopping you from being a Marine Corps officer until you grow some NUTS! And by the way, you CAN get into community college with a 1250 SAT score. If you become a ditch-digger, it will be because you took your free-will and landed in a ditch with a shovel and by NO OTHER WAY. God won't make you do anything you don't wish to do.
But rest assured, unless you fix that negative attitude you won't have to worry about digging a ditch. One will be dug for you. Keep trying, keep dreaming, and never settle.

First of all, Dont doubt God put him first in your life. Remember he knows what is best and you only want what is his will. God is a giving and forgiving God. He wants us to have the desires of our heart. The doubt and grief you are feeling are from Satan and not God. Maybe God has a bigger plan in store for you. Maybe he knows that you would be injured or so forth in the Marines and would rather use your skills somewhere else. I went and got my degree in Dental Hygiene but an opportunity hasn't opened up in my field but God has blessed me with a stress free job that I love. I work for a good Christian boss and I see rewards everyday from this job. You never know but definately don't doubt God. I don't believe God made you have a low GPA or bad SAT score. My hubby didn't get a college degree and he makes $20,000 more a year than one of my friends that has a Master's degree. So you are not doomed to dig ditches. God may be challenging you. Best wishes to you!!!!

You stated that you don't have good grades; yet, you believe that you should do well on the SAT, that does not make sense. God did not play a trick on you, you earned your score based on what you have learned.
Killing yourself wont help, I recommend you study and retake the test... I think a 1250 should easily get you into a community college.

Just to let you know, there are MANY good jobs that do not require college degrees. You do not need a college degree to be a productive member of society. You can make a lot of money (a LOT of money) going to a trade school and learning a trade such as refrigerator repair, learn to be an electrician or a welder. There people make a good living doing what they do, and we could not have a productive society without them. There is nothing shameful about these jobs.

How about you study a little bit harder and retake the test? Don't make it sound like it is the end of the world. There are people who I am very sure studied much harder than you were and gotten a much lower test score.

Even the most selective colleges allow people with SAT scores of 1100 to be granted admission. Since you scored well over that, I wouldn't kill yourself just yet. And for future reference...God does funny things to EVERYONE; and thanks to an open admissions policy, ANYONE can get in to community college. ;)

What if GOD has something better in store for you, other than being an officer in a military that fights in the name of the dollar. Maybe its something you didnt do that got you that score.

Join the Marines. Go ahead. Work your way up. Take evening courses and get your degree. Then apply to OCS.
It works.
god bless

Maybe He's got some plans for you other than being an officer in the Marines. You probably ought to ask Him what's up.
