Does anyone know if blowing a light fuse whenever you flip the switch is a bad omen?

It means nothing except that you have to replace the fuse. If it keeps happening after you replace it, then an electrician might have to be called in.

It means that you either have a bad circuit breaker or a short circuit in your wiring. Stop worrying about omens and fix your electrical problem before you burn your house down.
