I think it was created by Isaac Bonewits, though it's possible it was around before he wrote about it in 1971. It states that through the collective unconscious (Jung) people with psychic abilities (which according to my faith is everyone) can add and take away from our collective Switchboard. For instance, if everyone disbelieves Jesus, he won't exist anymore. If enough people psychically project a true faith in Tahuti, the God of Knowledge, Cerridwen the Cauldron Goddess, or even the Lord and lady of the Wild, they will be a Gods that people dream about and pray to. You don't even have to be vocal about it, the change will come first from the Switchboard, then will just be how people view things.

The pastor would live by faith that his needs would be met, church would be held in a rented hall or parishioners home or farm, people would give of their time to help others in the community, every cent in the tithes and offerings plate would go to charity. What do others think?

Only the seven brothers neither marry nor are given in marriage in heaven. Was not God the father of Christ and the rest of us before we were born on earth? Do fathers give birth?
are families eternal as God's is.

So, for example, murder, rape, torture can be forgiven (I understand you are supposed to repent), but not blasphemy against the holy ghost.

Does anyone else find that morally repugnant?

It suggests that such blasphemy is worse than any other act, no matter how despicable.

Are you quick to hear and slow to speak, or quick on both counts, or slow of hearing and quick to speak, or how?
Just curious.
For me, it's a mixed thing, sometimes I listen well, other times I just can't seem to shut up.

You all are disgusting. Have you ever gone out and attempted to educate yourselves on the Muslim religion? Are you taking just the limited knowledge you have from the war and 911 and using it to make assumptions about a hugely widespread and diverse religion?

No religion is without its faults. Anybody remember the Holocaust? Nobody hates Christianity for that it seems.

If you 'learn' at a church you are being taught one particular interpretation of the text, cooky cutter style. What do other people think?

Are all human beings hypocritical? Even in church? Everyone in church is not necessarily a Christian, so I ask also ... "Even Christian Hypocrites?"

How do you deal with Christians who are hypocrites and use God as a smoke screen to manipulate?

Isn't hypocracy an over rated sin? If you flatter, instead of insulting, is that bit of hypocracy such a big sin???

If a guy hates me so much he want to kill me, but he doesn't, and hypocritically treats me with respect, I am greatful for that hypocritical good behaviour.

Is it just the human condition to want to sin, but be hypocritical knowing "God is watching us from a distance".

I think the excuse for not obeying Hebrews 10: 25 is often "The church is full of hypocrites".

Isn't that the most hypocritical excuse known to man, for not obeying the Word of God?

"Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together in church, as the manner of some is."
(Heb 10: 25)

The church is NOT full of hypocrites ... there is always room for one more!

I'm curious to read some of your reasons because it seems it isn't a well thought out decision, or it is based on simple reasons like 'just because' or 'I don't see proof'. I'm coming from a Buddhist background, and despite some misunderstanding, Buddhism is not Atheist. A thorough investigation will prove this.

What is a Deity? In Buddhism, a person, through training their mind can achieve mastery of the subtle body even in dream, and they can also achieve profound realizations in which they join an enlightened society of holy beings. They can see Deities, or highly realized beings (Bodhisattvas and Buddhas) either with their mental consciousness or even with their coarse eyes. Precise examination of Buddhism, especially completion stage in Highest Yoga Tantra, and gaining personal experience of this will show the existence of Deities. As personal experience of many people shows, especially in the commentaries by Masters of what is possible, disbelief becomes baseless and useless.

Do you think in order to live life for God and the way he/she wants you to live that he will take the people who will get in the way of that away and block dreams that you have, but don't fit into his plan for you? Serious answers, no anti christian answers...

Or was it the heavens? If he went in his physical body then which planet did he go to? How did he travel there? Did he get beamed up to a ship? Or did his physical body get destroyed in the atmosphere allowing his spiritual body to enter Heaven? Or did he enter into a different dimension?

Just I have never received an atta boy, thank you, good job.etc.
Old church recognized my faithfulness at Christmas...
and small gift and/or donation. It was the thank you
that meant everything to me. I know that the Lord is
the ultimate...and worship to him.
