Day of Arafah ie hajj was on Tuesday, therefore Eid is on Wednesday.

my daughter told me its eid today which means hajj is finished eid starts the day after the haj finishes.

It is usually spelled "Haj."
One of the rules of Islam is that every Muslim who is physically & financially able must make a pilgrimage to Mecca (in Saudi Arabia), Mohammed's home town, at least once in their lives.
This pilgrimage is known as the Haj.

i go with mc daddy and add that tomorrow is the holiday when god sent a sheep to Abraham so he wont sacrifice his son ISHMAEL and that was in mecca so tomorrow we do the same as our father Abraham did and sacrifice one as well
