so they are trying to make a law (already have in some states) that you cant have red and green christmas lights on public property because it represents christmas? whats wrong with that??? and what has become of this world? now its holiday trees, holiday season, holiday gifts, etc. and they're saying that you cant have christmas symbols in public places because it represents CHRIST-mas, which is a 'religous celebration'. i know i've seen plenty of hanukkah symbols and other things around. so...

why cant we just say CHRISTMAS?!

I think women are beautiful and I like to look at them. However, I think some women are uncomfortable with being looked at. If you don't want attention why all the cleavage, push up bras, tight pants, make-up, and such? Please don't say it is just to be pretty. DaVinci didn't paint and then stick his works in the closet. No one spends time and energy to look good for no reason.

I think this is saying that its okay to kill when your protecting yourself but everyone in a war feel that way so Wars okay than?

Why do you come round bothering us when we are busy getting ready for Christmas? Is it because you have got no shopping to do, as you are too mean to let your kids celebrate?

My father was JW and I had a great respect for him. I respect all religions and I don't mean to be rude. I'd just like to know why you don't celebrate Jesus' birth on Dec 25th, since we don't really know when He was born. I know you believe Jesus was born sometime in october, but what's wrong with the idea of celebrating it on december, since we don't know when it is?

What is so bad about birthdays anyway? Why don't you celebrate birthdays? Aren't we celebrating the day God gave us our blessing life? Why do we have to take life so seriously and not allow ourselves to celebrate, have fun, enjoy friends, go to parties? Why can't you even sing "happy birthday"?What is wrong with that?

I have gotten into a debate with some friends about the existant of Noah's Arc. Where I do admit that a local flood could have happened, I am skeptical that a world wide flood could have. But to be fair, I do want to read evidence supporting/rejecting the Bible.

So could people post links supporting/rejecting this event/story.

Just so you know. Saying "the Bible says so" is not evidence at all. You have to prove that the Bible is 100% accurate. And saying, "It was written by God" will not back that claim because you will have to prove God's existance. Good luck with that.

I know of about the pictures of Mt. Ararat. Please give me something different.

And for people disproving the event: Please don't just state it couldn't happen. Don't bash the Bible, that's rude. Show me points against the believers arguements. For example, why it's physically impossible for a family to populate the earth in 4k years.

Ok so they claim that they made the "logical" choice, so if I become religious will I die??? I mean I am a Christian and I am in med school as a scholar, and I know alot of Christians are smart too and there are also those who are bums, and the same goes for atheists, can't atheists look past religion in order to asses intelligence???? What do you do when you have been raised a Baptist, but while becoming a teenager you lose touch with your beliefs and are taught theories of science that seem more plausible and you are able to accept them more as a reality than what religion has taught you? I am 18 years old, and I have lost touch with my faith in God and have become more convinced of theories of Evolution. Part of me wants to believe there is a higher power and that becoming involved in religion will somehow bring calmness and purify my life. On the other hand I am discouraged because I am able to accept theories of Evolution and do not believe many events which the bible cites.

Your input?

get some lil smokies (need to be refrigerated while not in use), cook them on whatever the package says and stick them in the oven for about 10-12 minutes. The juice is good so include that on the baking pan, than make some regular ol white rice atleast 4 servings. Once both are done just simply mix the two together, but for the extra kick oh yes it's coming shake some season all in there. Stir it up and put some more season all on it, also don't forget after baking the smokies you roll them around in the juice left over in the pan. I personally like a deep bowl for extra comfort while stirring. Your are welcome, I can say you won't be disappointed.

There is a Staples right across the street from my apartment complex that has one of those large slide the letters in signs and the words they had said Manny Christmas. I went across the street and asked the manager why and he said they only had one r left and they decided to use it in the word Christmas. I said why didn't they take some white tape and cover up part of the n's and make them look like r's? He though that was a great idea and put the tape on himself. I got a free package of computer printer paper and thanked him profusely. Now if I only had a printer to go with it?

My mother-in-law recently made a very selfish decision that put my wife (her daughter) through a lot of emotional pain. As a result, she (my wife) has tried to keep contact with her to a minimum for a while, and being cordial to her, at best. However, my MIL believes that everything is OK and that my wife is over the situation, when she really isn't.

Since we won't be seeing her for Christmas this year (a side effect of the selfish decision), she mailed us her gift (a check) in a Christmas card. My wife does not want to accept the gift believing that doing so will be misinterpreted as an indication that things are OK between them, and I agree. How can we politely refuse the gift and send the check back?
