This is generalized and there definitely are exceptions, but typically girls do better than boys in the language arts and humanities while boys do better in the maths and sciences. Around junior high the scale tends to balance itself out more in test scores, though the difference still remains.
So both genders are equally smart, though may be predisposed to different strengths.

i would say gurls b/c im a girl-but thats also b/c girls r proud of being smart and guys are too macho i guess to get good grades and show their smarts i guess they r afraid they will be classified as a geek or a nerd-but i stil think girls are smarter

girls are smarter then boys because they mature faster than boys.. That's what I heard... It made sense to me when I watched the movie ''Little Manhattan''. If you want to confirm, you ought to watch that movie..
