i see where your going......this series is the same. If your truly saved you are thru the shed blood of Jesus. Mary, Joseph Smith, Mohammad and others are sinners. They went to hell if they trusted in their works. The only way to heaven is Jesus. John 14:6
If your trusting in anything but Jesus you will die in your sins and go to hell.

A huge part. He made available to the world the restored fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And it is the gospel of Jesus Christ which teaches us the requirements for salvation which are: Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Repentance, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sin, and Laying on of hands for the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Through the work and sacrifices made by Joseph Smith, I have a better understanding of the nature of God, the nature of the atonement of Jesus Christ, and my purpose in mortality and the infinite possibilities of eternal life.

I did not needed Joseph Smith to get saved. Salvation is obtained through faith in Jesuschrist.

Learned the hard way to stay away from his religion by having been married to a Mormon 7 years (now an "ex") , and by being "around" them what this religion is all about. And it sure isn't about JESUS and his doctrines of TRUTH.
One fact that stood out to me was Joseph Smith's claims of finding the plates he translated. For having been people of MY heritage who wrote them (native american) I knew right away this to be a FALSE claim as my ancestors were not KNOWLEDGEABLE in the craft of metalworks. At the end of the 19th century they were STILL using arrowheads made from stone/flint and it is obvious Joseph Smith was not too intelligent as he would have known "this."

Jesus himself said that those who reject the prophets reject HIM (Jesus) because He sent them, as well as rejecting the Father who Sent Him (Jesus). Joseph Smith Jr is one of Gods prophets. I think you can figure out what part Joseph Smith Jr. has to do with our salvation on your own now.

A great deal.
First, I discovered Mormonism was false and then I learned that Christianity was without a rational basis, as well.
As such, Joseph Smith "saved" me from further entanglements with theism.

I really think it was the whole golden tablet thing just sounded so amazing or it could have been the old lady he slept with that really won my heart over.
