In Matthew 5:28-30, Jesus says:

"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."

Take a Muslim and a Christian. Both believe in a different version of God, both believe in different prophets of God. (I believe Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet, but let's stay on track here).

Both will tell you that they feel God, and cannot even imagine a world without God. Both would even die for their beliefs.

At least one is wrong. This is a fact, if you have two opposite opinions, at least one is going to be wrong.

This demonstration is to show that "feelings" are felt by people of all beliefs, and if you are going on faith, then there's a good chance you are wrong.

I go on facts.

Doesn't this sacrifice for sin gospel skip over something rather important? (Jn. 4:10 to Jn. 4:14)

So why am I not hearing about this Living Water..... this Gift of God..... rather than the sacrifice for sins I usually hear. Jesus says it is the LIVING WATER that brings ETERNAL LIFE.

So why so much emphasis on the crucifixion when Jesus was giving out this Gift of God that bestows eternal life way back in the fourth chapter of John.

Wouldn't Living Water be powerful enough to clean up this sin problem?

I give you a head start of what I could come up with:

Similarities: Both Children who believe in Santa Clause and religious adults don't like to be told that their beliefs are wrong.

Differences: Children will eventually grow-up and come to understand that Santa doesn't exist, but Religious adults will never come to this point in their lives.

there has to be a victim. If you try and remove the victim from humor you end up with the sort of jokes you get in a Xmas cracker or those that Pangel tells. Why is it that others misfortune is so pleasurable to humans?

Ok, we all know that I don't believe in the idea of God that Christians, Muslims, and Jews do. But I'm not Atheist, nor am I Agnostic. But someone just did something for me that I can only describe as an answer to my wishes (since I don't pray). They don't know me, and have no real reason to believe me when I tell them of my situation. (Although I am being honest). I 'know' them only from answering a Question. Angel? Answer to non-prayer? Blessing, with no disguise? Just wondering what each of you would call that, from your various belief systems and faiths. Going to send a thank-you with each and every (decent) suggestion.
