It is just something I thought of just now, any thoughts?

Proud of yourself to the exclusion of others is the sin. God does not sin and we have to remember (it is difficult) that God has eternity. If we accept Christ so do we

just as all the other words in the Bible, this word 'pride' has so many different meanings. For instance I said to my Parish Priest that I do not 'fear' the Lord as the Bible says we should, for I believe He is just and compasionate and when I come before Him to be judged I will accept His punishment (if any) with good grace. The priest said that that word means that we should 'respect' the Lord , which I do.
The pride which is a sin is'selfpride'.

Self-pride is the negative factor you are mentioning here.

God was proud of Jesus his son, just as you would be proud of your own child for bringing home a "Straight A" report card.

Killing is a sin as well, yet according to the Bible, God is still responsible for the murders of countless innocent people.

Apparently, only God is allowed to sin.

Same thing with jealousy, but god's a jealous god.. and proud of it too. Is jealousy a trait that's ok in gods but not humans?
