Take a Muslim and a Christian. Both believe in a different version of God, both believe in different prophets of God. (I believe Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet, but let's stay on track here).

Both will tell you that they feel God, and cannot even imagine a world without God. Both would even die for their beliefs.

At least one is wrong. This is a fact, if you have two opposite opinions, at least one is going to be wrong.

This demonstration is to show that "feelings" are felt by people of all beliefs, and if you are going on faith, then there's a good chance you are wrong.

I go on facts.

The entire world is based on belief. You have to keep faith that your beliefs are justified.

There is no confusion for people who stick to one belief whether right or wrong. When one say yours is wrong there comes the conflict.Anxiety and jealousy between these religions come to light when religious celebrations are made.Religions cannot be totally eradicated but allowed to do their rites. After all they are human beings for the sake of souls all religion leaders join and evolve unity leave alone the individual procedures.all Hindus Muslims Christians do pray at home and befriends outside after all we are human beings one day die.According tome God is magnanimous character in reality and not out - ward show.Prayer should be done alone and everybody should be sincere and true to thine own self in small or big matters,If this scan is made religion will be having members only with good characters bunch and all denominations synchronize according to the will of god and there will be only one flock and others will be Hippocrates

Well facts are o.k but I believe that christian love is the answer to differences in beliefs both religious and non. Finding the similarities in the others opinion and building a relationship based on mutual respect is what Thomas Aquinas taught and other great Fathers of the Church

Basing one's entire experience on feeling wouldn't be a good way to believe. There is still knowledge to be used, feeling does not assume knowledge. But discounting feeling entirely would be error.

After talking to several Muslims I have found that they get weird about God's Spirit. They really do not want to talk about it. I find that very curious. Why wouldn't they want to tell the world about it like the Christians will do?

I figure that they really don't get the Holy Spirit. In fact, they deny the trinity, so if they have a spiritual relationship with God - who's spirit are they having it with?

It is problems like that which show me that they have not thought out their religion - which I take as a false religion, and that is because they really don't have a god, they only have what they were told is Allah, but they worship what they do not know.

True God qualifies if has fol characteristics
a. GOD is one , (christian believes in trion god father, son and ghost see 1john5:7)

b. GOD is eternal and absolute , where as no human can qualify this.

c. God never begets nor is born where as Jesus ,Rama, Buddha all were having biological fathers and mothers, and only Adam was born without father and mother as well as Melchizedek in bible see Hebrew 7:1-3 .(THEY SHOULD ALSO BE TAKEN AS GOD WHERE AS THEY R NOT WHY ? AMAZING.)
d. God never eats nor drinks where as if u drink or eat ,it has to pass out thus makes u unclean, Also True God never sleeps ,where as all people named above did slept while they walked on this earth.

THEREFORE PLZ ANALISE IT HOW HUMAN BEING QUALIFIES AS GOD OR CAN DIE FOR U AND ME, DO NT BE SENTIMENTAL IN UR EMOTIONS WHILE RATING .

I believe in God because I can not escape him, the same as one can not escape the fhather, you see, he has taken me in and out of places, according to the needs of my physical and spiritual development.

He has saved my life so many times that I can not count anymore, he has even allowed other people to die in my place, because I am precious to him, even when I am not perfect.

(Matthew 10:29-31 (NIV) "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father... So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."

1 Peter 1:18-19 (Phi) For you must realize that you have been ransomed from the futile way of living passed on to you by your traditions, but not by any money payment of this passing world. No, the price was, in fact, the life blood of Christ, the unblemished and unstained lamb of sacrifice.

1 Cor 7:23a (Phi) You have been redeemed, at tremendous cost. ) Try to understand this. The devil made man institute the sacrifice knowing there is not human blood worth for humanity, being Jesus forced to die for our price. It was our fault, we put the devil up high, and many still do it today, they praise the devil with their words and phrases, music style, social political, ideological and even false religious life. And we all have got dirty as we are born in the dirt. But once being cleaned you can find yourself and know who and what you are.

When I come to understand why something didn't happened the way I wanted is because I came to realise that it would have been bad for me.

why is one wrong?
The Koran speaks of Sons of Abraham - Jews, Christians and Muslims.
All 3 know the same God, called Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate for some.

Why should one be wrong, simply becasue they don't 'know' the truth?
In the name of Allah,
the beneficent, the merciful.
Praise be to the Lord of the
universe who has created us and
made us into tribes and nations
that we may know each other, not that
we may despise each other.
If the enemy incline towards peace, do
thou also incline towards peace, and
trust God, for the Lord is the one that
heareth and knoweth all things.
And the servants of God,
most gracious are those who walk on
the Earth in humility, and when we
address them, we say PEACE.

They may believe in a different God, but they both believe in God nonetheless. One, or both, is wrong in the details perhaps, but that doesn't mean that they both cannot "feel" God.

As for me, God was never a question in my life. As a child, it shocked me to learn that other people didn't believe. And no, I wasn't raised in church. I never set foot inside a church until I was 16, yet I always believed. Some things are just ingrained in us.

People believe in a God because they have Faith in that God... nothing more nothing less.

There isn't any more... there isn't any proof... there isn't anything palpable that they can claim as proof of God.

You're right... the "feeling of God" that they are experiencing would be described by someone else as "joy" "happiness" "love" "comfort"... believers just credit the wrong thing. Feelings can be unusually strong... they may feel the strongest can only be explained by a higher force.

In Christianity feelings are not a factor. We live by faith not feelings. Feelings are a most deceptive thing to trust because they can change from moment to moment. Interesting that the KJV of the Bible never even speaks of a Christian and feelings.
