Doesn't this sacrifice for sin gospel skip over something rather important? (Jn. 4:10 to Jn. 4:14)

So why am I not hearing about this Living Water..... this Gift of God..... rather than the sacrifice for sins I usually hear. Jesus says it is the LIVING WATER that brings ETERNAL LIFE.

So why so much emphasis on the crucifixion when Jesus was giving out this Gift of God that bestows eternal life way back in the fourth chapter of John.

Wouldn't Living Water be powerful enough to clean up this sin problem?

The living water Jesus was referring to is the truth. Not salvation, but the truth of salvation. That's why He said that it would be 'welling up to eternal life'. It does that because the truth gets you there- it tells you where to look for eternal life.

These three are in agreement: the Water, the Blood and the Spirit.

The Living Water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer; the Water also is the water of baptism, a symbol of our burial and resurrection with Christ.

Jesus himself says that we must be born of the water and the Spirit, but He himself shed His blood on the Cross.

The living water is God's word of truth ... the Bible. Jesus said that "this means everlasting life their taking knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ" - John 17:3.

That knowledge includes recognition and acceptance of Jesus sacrifice and what it means.

Christ brings eternal life to us through the sacraments.
The waters of baptism and the blood of the Eucharist.

Living Water = Baptism (trinitarian)

In baptism we die with Christ so that we may rise with Him into Salvation. His choosing to die was a sacrifice of body and blood for us. His suffering sanctifies our suffering. His death sanctifies our death. His life sanctifies our life.
