To be honest no. I remember a time when there was a real Christmas when a child would got a toy and got great value out of it for ages, but children today have Christmas every day of the week, I don't want to be going into a diatribe but have you noticed the toys thrown out in bins with little or nothing wrong with them, not to mention all the other stuff household things. Nothing has any value anymore and it's a real pity. And the debt that people run up.
I'm sorry for being a party pooper but that's the way I feel about the whole thing.

As depressing and miserable this makes me sound.... no, i don't like christmas!! Haven't enjoyed it for the last 6 or 7 years - if there is a crisis in my family, it has always been christmas. I am too busy at work to enjoy buying presents and end up doing the dashing around. I like the 25th - but hate the run up to it, and don't get any festive cheer at all.
Flipping heck - that makes me sound a miserable so and so!!!

Yes I like Christmas once I've done all my shopping & wrapped all the pressies. The fun really begins on Christmas eve when all the shops are shut, the front door is locked & what you've not got you've got to live without!

OH god yes! i get a lot of money and presents and i swim around my presents full of joy and happiness that i cry sometimes. It is the most joyfull times of my life!!!!!!!
