Yes I am, I believe that the Monarchy is the most acceptable form of Government and the a Republic would lead to A Tony Blair/ Gordon Brown as president and they would abuse their powers and who would turn out to see them appear on a balcony wearing a Uniform and their wife in a nice hat and gloves, that would be really boring.

The Royal Family are a great asset for The UK,

God Save The Queen and Long may She Reign!!

I'm English, under 35, and a monarchist (and until convinced of a better system for my country will remain one) not because of the personalities involved, but because it’s a crucial part of Britain’s one thousand year history of being an independent nation.
Besides, I don't want a boring suited president to be my head of state. I want a ‘Head of State’ that makes a statement as to my country’s history, and gives it the grander and dignity that it is due, and of course the public recognition abroad.

I'm very pro-European monarchy but when it comes to Africa and Asia I would go by each country's case. North and South America, and Australia are better off as democratic republics, or republic under another country's constitutional monarchy.

I am a "republican," an I have an ancestor who was an officer in Lord Fairfax's command in the parliamentary army.

It is part of our political philosophy.
