Most Christians believe that if one has heard of Jesus, and does not believe he is the savior, then they will go to Hell.

But most people throughout history and over the world were raised in cultures that did not believe in Jesus. They may have heard a sentence or two, but never got the full picture, so how could they ever find him?

But they have heard a little and of course do not believe from that, that he is the son of God. So now they will go to Hell.

With that in mind, wouldn't it have been better for the first Christians to remain as quite as possible about Jesus (since the vast majority of people will never be convinced)?

If so why do they allow all the pagan rituals in our public schools , like halloween, christmas , easter valentines day so on. . I think the pagans have the biggest following of all and have managed to trick most of the people of the world to go along whith them. just as it was before Christ.

Take for example a female. Would you say she is bi/lesbian-CURIOUS if she's never been in a relationship with a girl, but wants to be? I don't agree with this.

If she's also never been in a relationship with a male is she bi/straight-curious?

I don't think you need to have a RELATIONSHIP with both sexes to say you're bisexual.

So are all people who have had no relationships at all straight curious, bi curious and lesbian curious all at the same time?

Are all straight people now, who are or have been in relationships, before all that were merely straight curious?

What do you think?

I had my first one that I can remember a few days ago --- unfortunately I don't remember the details but I do know that I was battling demons using the name of Jesus and that it seemed, for lack of a better term, epic.

Do you have these? Is this common? How have they impacted your life if you do have them?

I had a rough day at work yesterday so I decided to spoil myself a little and go out to eat at a nice steak house. The waitress sat me at a small table around a corner where I could enjoy my meal in peace. I could only see one other table from where I sat, which was good because I hate watching other people eat.
I ordered my food and started quietly reading the paper. Suddenly from around the corner came a family of eight people, coming to sit in the only table in the whole restaurant that I could see. Sitting down directly in my line of sight was a woman with a screaming new born baby. She quickly sat down, set her purse on the floor and pulled her big, veiny breast out and popped it in her kid's mouth!!! OH MY SWEET VISHNU!! I yelled. The whole family turned and looked at me, including the newborn with a nipple down his throat and yellow colostrum rolling down his cheek. CANT YOU COVER THAT UP!?? I screamed. She was extremely offended and got all self conscious and (continued)

Will all of our senselessness and gluttony finally catch up with us?

2007-12-14 06:26:07 · 17 answers · asked by Anonymous in Mythology & Folklore

There are only two options:
When Jesus comes back?.
Rev 22:7 Behold, I am coming soon!
Rev 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon!
Rev 22:20 Yes, I am coming soon.

Why has he taken so long to return? Why did you use the word ‘soon’ THREE TIMES? Maybe the 'gap theory' applies here too, 'soon' to Jesus could mean many years to us. However, the wording does embolden the faithful to remain steadfast.

When Christianity is dissolved?
In 1807 slavery was abolished by the British Parliament and finally in 1863 fifty-six years later, the Emancipation Proclamation was issued in America. In the USA, fashion seems to always be behind, or ‘catching up’ with European styles.

From non-American responses on RS and surveys from the European Commission website it seems that there is a growing populace of atheists in the world. However, the zealous passion from the Christian side makes me think that there is NOTHING that could get them to CONSIDER that what they believe could be wrong.
So when?

...shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
Deuteronomy 23:1

Bit harsh, isn't it? There can't be many men who haven't been kicked in the 'stones' at some point in their life. And frankly, if I'd had my 'privy member' cut off, I'd be expecting a bit of sympathy.

I suppose it's the actual learning of God's word and sincerely having Jesus in your heart that grants you such a beautiful passage into his kingdom. But what if one were to DVR a sermon by Mr. Osteen of Lakewood Church and watch it at a more convenient time, you know, when your favorite football team aint playing. Would that count or make Christians feel like I'm not doing my all to be in God's favor?
