What is your opinion on Revaltion Chapter 17? Doesn't this appear to be speaking about Rome, and Roman Catholicism? A 'Woman' is always referred to as church in the Bible. A 'whore" is referred to, in my opinion, a false church, and it is common knowledge that Rome has seven hills. "Mystery, Babylon" is very intriguing, but Roman Catholicism was a mixture of Christianity and Paganism created by Constantine in the 4th Century A.D. Moreover, symbols of the dragon have been used on papal shields, images of the sun are used from pagan Babylon, Roman founders are decendent from Babylon, and the pope himself carries a bent cross. The words 'Vicarius filii dei", the title on the crown of the pope, when translated from ROMAN NUMERALS, is guess what number? nobody throughout history has killed more Christians than Rome, and Roman Catholicism is itself false. Peter was to run the church, yet he along with Paul and others were imprisoned by the Romans?? What is everyone's opinion of Revalation 17

This idea that if I don't believe in Jesus I will go to hell makes no sense to me. According to the bible God created everything in the universe, knows everything that has happened and will happen, and gave us free will. It also says that God is perfect and cannot sin. If God is perfect and he created me, and he knows I do not believe in him, but he also knew before he created me that I would not believe in him, why did he create me in the first place? Where's the free will, because if God knows everything is going to happen before it happens, that means everything is predestined and this whole 'test' doesn't make sense. WHY WOULD THE ALL KNOWING, ALL PERFECT GOD, CREATE HUMANS when he already knows whats going to happen? If he is so loving why would he create something that he already knows will go to Hell before he even created it? If he knows whats going to happen in the first place you can only sumize he is not perfect because he created imperfect things.

I watch it regularly & just heard that Alex Trebek was hospitalized Monday night for a heart attack. I'm hoping that his recovery is a speedy one. He's been coming into my living room for so long now, he's part of my family now. ~lol~

while my neighbor was away on business (i think he was visiting his other woman), his cat was in my tree staring at me as i was floating in my pool. After yeling at it and throwing my sandle up the tree, i finlly decided to get it down with a bow and arrow and it worked. Only thing is that instead of skimming it to scare it down, it was a direct hit. Sould I tell him what his cat did or should I hide it?

Doesn't it stand to reason if there is one God why not others. Couldn't he have brothers and sisters Mom and dad aunts and uncles first and seconds cousins. There might just be a load of gods out there.

I am not a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, scientologist...after studying each faiths guidelines and practices, I choose not to affiliate myself with any one faith. It seems that each faith has at its core beneficial “truth”. However, over time they have become somehow tainted. I have moral issues in joining a club that I don’t have 100% agreement with.
The big upside I see in organized religion is the brotherhood. I honestly think that this is the reason most people join there “club”.
How would you feel if I, someone who has shunned your faith, a practicer of spiritual acts that would get him cast out of some worship circles, took you up on your invitation and joined you on your holy day, with the sole intention of...socializing. I have done this in the past. Upon disclosing my true, spiritually shallow intentions, I'm usually met with anger, and/or disappointment.
Can I ask, what is the source of that reaction? What would be your reaction? Would anyone join if I started an “All Faiths Club”?

I'm a black guy who chills with a whole bunch of races (im from California, alot of us are like that) But i feel like sometimes i either have to hang with my white friends, and be the only black guy, or hang with my black friends with no white ppl around.

Exodus 20:3 "Worship no god but me."

Why would he demand this if there are no other gods? How can you know that your god is the only god? How can you know that all you credit your god with has actually been done by your god? If there was another god, how could you detect the difference when another god would have all the abilities of your god. How do you know your god is good. Nothing your god has done proves goodness. Sending his only son doesn't prove it.
