while my neighbor was away on business (i think he was visiting his other woman), his cat was in my tree staring at me as i was floating in my pool. After yeling at it and throwing my sandle up the tree, i finlly decided to get it down with a bow and arrow and it worked. Only thing is that instead of skimming it to scare it down, it was a direct hit. Sould I tell him what his cat did or should I hide it?

Cats go missing everyday. They get hit by cars, Shot by idiots with bows and arrows. You know......

What you did is horrible and ILLEGAL!
If you get caught you will be fined and possibly spend time in jail!
That is animal crulty!
That was the most stupid thing you ever could have done... EVER.
If you tell him then he will sue you, call the cops, and you are screwed...
The smart thing for you to do is to get rid of the corpse and never speak of this EVER again to ANYONE...
If he finds out it was you that killed his cat then you will NEVER hear the end of it and you will be hated by everyone you know because I can guarentee that he will tell the whole neighborhood what you did and ensure that you have a police record that will haunt you for life.

What the cat did was be a cat. You were the idiot that did something stupid. If your a good person you will tell him, if your the idiot I think you are you will bury it.
Your a real idiot, what would you have done if you scalded the cat and the arrow came down hitting and killing someone. I hope U realize you were running that risk. Next time shoot the arrow straight up in the air: may be it will come straight back down and the world will be rid of U. IDIOT!

Oh, crap. Dude, honesty's the best policy. Be careful, though. He may decide to file against you with Animal Control or Humane Society.
Also, offer to buy him another cat/kitten to help him out. And, next time he's away, leave the cat alone in a tree! They're natural climbers, and unless he gets stuck too high, it's not a problem. (What were you doing in the pool that you didn't want him to see or get an education about????)

Yeah... you could be arrested for that. Bury his cat, tell him you found it in the street, express your condolences, and then spend the rest of your life contemplating how to be a better human being.

I am sure your neighbor would want to sue you as well...
It's best to come clean about everything, or you can just move to another country before your neighbor returns to avoid everything...
But you have to bring the cat to the local animal control shelter for disposal. It is illegal to just bury it in your backyard or something like that. Of course you may be arrested for shooting it when you bring it into the animal control center.

You might explain that your neighborhood was attacked by a band of Indians who were off the reservation and that his cat was a hero who jumped in front of an arrow that was heading towards a 4 year old little girl to save her life.......
But if it were me, I would just move.
