One of the many things that ancient and modern Israelites have in common is knowledge of the pyramids of Egypt. They stood at the time when Jacob and his family (see Children of Jacob) first went down to Egypt to escape the famine, they were well-known to Moses and Aaron at the time of the Exodus over 4 centuries later, and they are a very well-known world landmark today. They have withstood the passage of the ages.

It's suggested that the Israelites may have been used to build the pyramids while they were slaves in Egypt (which is talked about in Exodus). That's only speculation, but there's no reason to think that Egypt and the pyramids 'don't fit' into the Bible stories.

The bible makes no mention of the pyramids and most archaelogist place the construction of the pyramids occurring before the story of Joseph in the Bible.
From the paintings found on the inside of the pyramids and temple, some of which details the construction of the monuments, only egyptians are shown involved in the construction. Slaves are never depicted as construction workers.

Supposedly it was the Hebrew slaves who helped to build dome of the great pyramids. Moses then returned to Egypt and freed the Hebrew slaves taking them into the wilderness to find the promised land.

The pyramids were ancient long before the time of Moses. They were actually built some 1600 years before the oldest passages of the Bible were written.

According to Exodus the Israelites were slaves there.
But the time line doesn't really fit, and they came along after Egypt was no longer dominant.

Isaiah 19:19
In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
Being at the border and middle, only fits the Great Pyramid, situated right the border of Upper and Lower Egypt.
