i was asleep and in the dream i was standing in front of a grave with the name Mona on it. I felt a gust od icey cold wind (i really could feel it too) then i couldn't breathe, i woke up and still couldnt i finally got some breath and had broke into a cold sweat, was it a spirit?

What you felt upon waking was the physical affects of your dream. Dreams provoke emotions, including fear & I feel that this is what has happended here.
Maybe you should meditate a little to see what this dream represents for you at this time within your life.
I have worked with spirit for over 20 years & I don't feel that this dream was connected to them in anyway.

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.
Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls
You also have a Spirit Guide which has been with you from the time you was born till the day you pass over : )
Do you also know that people that Astral Travel are seen as ghost, so maybe people are seeing ghost maybe are just living people just exploring via Astral travelling : )

it could of been wind, but usually a drastic and sudden burst of temperture change, even mysterious sounds and smells are a good indication of a spirit. a spirit is your body's essence, its soul. and a spirit is a soul that has not yet passed on to the next life and stayed behind for some good reason, whither their lost, have business to tend to, angry, or simply watching over their previous family members.

most likley you could be sensative and that means you attract paranormal happenings or have paranormal vissions can see dead pepole ext but there are diferent typse of sensatives some can see spirits some cant the ones that can are what pepole like to call super sensitive here are some signs you could be a sensitive vissions of dead pepole seign full aparations of the dead speaking to them like they are real people
