When something good happens, they are all about "PRAISE THE LORD" but when something bad happens, it's the devils fault or caused by "free will". Then I simply ask how their God could of let a boy get killed during a Christmas parade and some of them bash me for blaming God. I didn't blame God, I don't believe in him.

And look how sassy most of them get when asked a straight forward question:

Most are not very Christianlike, are they?

Is it just me or do believers talk out both sides of their mouths?

What was involved in the basic learning when you were at school? How did it help prepare you for life? Were you prepared for 'life' when you left school? Do you think that kids today are more or less prepared for the 'real' world when they leave school?

I think we live in more of a materialistic world than ever before, accummulating things to make life more enjoyable but never feeling satisfied. Can we really be genuinely happy WITHOUT some form of belief or foundation in spirituality/something more than what we can see?

Ok, I am a big NFL Colts football fan and was pretty exited when they won the Super Bowl last year (waited 36 years).

Now, no one looked at me like I lost it when I was cheering and carrying on like a fanatic.

Yet when I go to Church on Sunday, and even at times throughout the week, I tend to get pretty excited about the one who gave his life for me - Jesus Christ.

I find it rather amusing how something that I waited most of my life for lost its exitement rather quickly but my Joy in the Lord is fresh every day. Why are Christians considered weird for being fanatical about the fact we are going to live forever yet if we get fanatical about this world's temporal achievements and offerings its normal?

My boyfriend and I are going out of state to visit his family for Christmas. This will be my first time meeting his family, they live 5 hours away.
Should I bring something? Or not? If so, what are some good ideas? I want to make a good impression without looking cheesy or like I am trying to kiss up.

My dad passed away a few months back, he had a very large library of Christian books. There are some that my siblings and I wish to keep, but there will be a lot of others. I had found a place at one time that allowed you to send them over seas for people learning English to use.

That place or any other I ideas will be appreciated.

I've always been drawn to dragons (the topic) and I know that no one's ever seen one (maybe...) so I really want to know (I'm only 12 ok?). I've always just believed them to be prehistoric birds, but I have this feeling that I'm wrong. Please tell me! I'm only 12, so no cursing.

Christmas should be celebrated everyday for the birth of our savior Jesus. Hawkins wouldn't have done what he did if Christians were looking out for his welfare rather than the state. He didn't feel love from his family or what he considered his friends. The people that died, some went to hell, while those who believed went to Heaven and are a witness. Hawkins spirit lives for many security guards are at the mall awaiting his twin brother. Christians should be at the mall to reinforce the fact that holiday mall shopping is a dreadful sin of idolatry. The gifts we present are to the baby savior in the manger and not to each other. Where's the love?

I am interested to learn what Christians and others too know about the Jewish Holiday of Hanukkah. As I feel we need to know about the people in our world so that we understand each other better, I try to become versed on their cultures and beliefs. But I am interested to know if others feel the same, and know anything about the Jewish holiday. I am a Christian, but I have actually read the Hebrew Prayers for Hanukkah at the lighting of the Menorah to honour the people who lived where I worked. I am very open minded with regards to religious beliefs and wonder if other share my respect for other peoples' beliefs.

John 14:6 (New International Version)

6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

.....................How can we have faith in this in comparison to all the other religions/faith systems out there.
Also if someone is a good soul, has a compassionate heart for mankind, how could they possibly not go to a better place, wherever or whatever that may be.

What makes Christianity superior to other religions????

Please no-one be offended by my question I just am interested in others views on this, Thanks!:0)

If you are a Christian and that thinks it's a sin to be Gay (and that gays are going to hell) here is a question for you.

Lets say you were born a hermaphrodite and your parents chose your sex. But then later in life you found out that you were attracted to the same sex.

Option 1) Does this mean that you have sinned and are going to hell for being gay?

Option 2) Or do you think that your parents have sinned because they chose the wrong sex at the time of birth which therefore made you to be gay?

If they chose the wrong sex and you turned out to be gay that would mean that you didn't have a choice in the matter. So wouldn't they be the ones ultimately be responsible for making you gay? If they are responsible for making you gay who would be sinning?

Our space in finite.
It just seems so stupid that you feel the need to bury yourself in the ground when you die.
If you really care than why not just let it get burned up.
Besides, we cud use the extra food.
thank god i'm an anarchist!
