GEG: In all fairness I have not. I have only seen it in the news and on maps. I had more of a desert-like impression from looking at their cities.

And the Bible promises that in God's new system, the whole world will be productive.

So you've never spent time in Israel? 'Cause if you had, you would know she has also mountains, covered with snow much of the time, and lakes, and beautiful flowers and plants. Israel was just desert until the Jews irrigated the land, starting back in the early 1900s.

The Holy Land wasn't always a desert.

It used to be called the fertile cresent because tons of plantlife was grown there.
