Good Question, My brother! All I can say is: "God calls Us Peculiar People, Himself". And I Love it! The World can call us Weird, Or NUTS, or anything they want, But Jesus Calls Us HIS Sheep....and says: " He knows Us, and we hear His Voice!" And we do! Praise Him For His fresh Joy, Grace, and Favors each Day. Every Thing our eyes can See, is Only Temporary.....and certainly does not fill The Soul.....ONLY JESUS DOES!!

I don't think most people consider it any weirder than any other religious practice. Unless of course you're running down the street yelling "hallelujah!" But we'd look at you funny if you did that for the Colts more than a half hour after the game.

Hey, I am with you on that one. I love to praise, shout, dance and run for all that He has done for me. I love to get excited about Jesus. Wow, we get to go to heaven forever and see Him face to face. Life here also can be exciting serving Him. I don't care what people say or think about me anymore, I just go ahead and praise Him. My pastor last Sunday was saying that he thought it was odd that people that are so poor they get off the bus to go to church, give God such raw praise, while the people that are doing well, don't. Then he started saying that he could out dance anyone for what God has done for him, and did just that!

"Weird" in this instance is usually attributed to ridicule or scorn. People have a tendency to do this when they fear or hate something they know nothing of.
Just in case you haven't skipped ahead to the last chapter; it gets worse before it gets better. Stick to your beliefs!!

I personally don't want to hear about either. I don't care for football and I have my own beliefs. But if you can do your thing with out bothering others I don't see why anyone would be upset.

That's a great question, every one worships in there own way, and that is every ones right, if you want to jump up and holler, then do it, but I like to sit and pray quietly, its every ones own personal choice....

Mixing apples and oranges is a human thing no matter what football team you like or what church you go to. Or don't.

Because it's careless to believe such things, fear such things, and celebrate such things, without having any actual proof of such things. That is why :)

New Testament is a myth. There may be an essence that continues on after the body dies, but it does not go to be with the lord like you think.
