When something good happens, they are all about "PRAISE THE LORD" but when something bad happens, it's the devils fault or caused by "free will". Then I simply ask how their God could of let a boy get killed during a Christmas parade and some of them bash me for blaming God. I didn't blame God, I don't believe in him.

And look how sassy most of them get when asked a straight forward question:

Most are not very Christianlike, are they?

Is it just me or do believers talk out both sides of their mouths?

Chalk it up to frustration.

Church people want to be safe from harm. They'd like to be rescued from a reality that's far outside of their ability to control and it's out of this fear of their utter vulnerability that they're motivated, as if by a panacea, to run for the nearest shelter -- whether real or not. God-believers are afraid to face the simple truth that they are entirely alone and without an adequate defense.

A tragedy like this one of the boy brings out the worst in a faithful believer. They succumb to their feelings of helplessness and give up their hope to the Lord, that he will be there to protect them. When their God is challenged as by this boy's death and their God fails to meet the challenge, they become angry, defensive and frustrated. The obvious hopelessness of their misapplied trust in "a special something" which has turned out to be nothingness is barely contained. They are at odds with themselves.

Your wording kind of implied you were blaming god in the question......why did god allowed this to happen.....there is believers and there is bible bashers, like every religion, christians have fanatics within too.I just seen a plain question from a female user saying she has no boyfriend or picks always the wrong ones and there were a lot of replies there advising her about gods plan for her and to keep praying as well as to join a christian group !!!! in my opinion they were the bible bashers, the ones you probably say ,they praise the lord for everything good that happens.hope I was not with the ''sassy'' ones in the previous question.so in answer to this question,it is not plain believers who talk out of both holes but bible bashers...!

Some so called believers Do talk 'out both sides of their mouths'...yes. And their ears and their nostrils and a** etc. But not all of them...just most. Catholics are also full of sh** too. Look at their 'Priests', molesting children. I think religion is driving humanity away from eachother. That's MY opinion.

They CAN'T explain it, but they NEED religion to get through this life.

I had a neighbor who told me I would go to hell because I dressed up for halloween. A lot of people blindly believe things about their religion because they are terribly misinformed.

This woman was a clergywoman. She had never bothered to read about the TRUE origin of halloween, which is based on religion.
Just severely lacking education, and choosing to blindly follow what someone else had told her.

Well, we get pretty sassy with our answers too a lot of the time. Pretty much they believe god is good and everything else is bad. And we are not to know the reasons why god does what he does. They're not to question.

Many Christians don't practice what they preach. Take for example that Southern church that protests at the funerals of soldiers, and hold rallies where they shout how everyone is going to hell but them... Not very Christian-like either...

There are only questions that you have within you that only God can truly answer for you. We humans cannot explain why certain things happen and why, even though we wish we could. God knows everything from beginning to end. That is why we trust God no matter if it is good or bad, He is really in control, even though it may not seem like it. That is why you need to ask Him, even though you don't believe in God, just try and see what happens.

Some christians not know how to follow their title. They don't act like the namesake idol.

You don't seem to believe there is good and evil in this world.

If you do, where did it come from??

So why you asking? It seems it is just you talking out both sides of your mouth. You do not really want the truth anyway.
