My dad passed away a few months back, he had a very large library of Christian books. There are some that my siblings and I wish to keep, but there will be a lot of others. I had found a place at one time that allowed you to send them over seas for people learning English to use.

That place or any other I ideas will be appreciated.

I'm not in favor of burning any books. Just donate them to the local shelter, seniors center, or church library in your dads name.

First of all, I am very sorry for your loss. My mom came to saving faith just hours before passing so I know the feeling of sadness and joy mixed together.

I would contact mission organizations (New Tribe Missions or Youth With a Mission) and denominations that have a strong missions focus (Christian and Missionary Alliance or Southern Baptist or Assembly of God)

Bless you for wanting to share the Good News with others!!

Donate them to his church to either sell or use for refrence in their library/office. Or find a local Christian organization, some sort of shelter would be best.

Goodwill might take them, Salvation Army... You could see if you could donate them to a local library or to a Christian school in your area.

most local Christian based shelters or nursing homes would enjoy such a donation! that's a very nice thing you're looking to do in your dad's memory! BTW, sorry to hear about your loss.

A Christian thrift store would appreciate the gifting - or a Christian school.

Could burning Christian books be another way
of God's message to unbelievers?

How about sending them to our men and women overseas. Your local recruiters could tell you how and may even offer help with postage.

My wife has a few hundred of them I'd like to set outside on the curb. Maybe it's a thousand.

I would say considering a lot of people who are less fortunate during this cold time of year need something to help keep their homes warm, you could donate it to them. Nothing burns quite like a Christian book.
