On christen, I have a question.

When the apocalypse come (2012) what will happen to people who do not know your god and will never have the chance to?

Say primitive in the south pacific, or the amazon.

Or is that chocolate industry hype? Before anybody else points it out, I know the Aztecs didn't make chocolate bars like we do now.

are you a volunteer, could you actually love people and not try and "save" them?

can you just love people, watch them decline, die and just be there for them?

does that go against Jesus or Christianity in some way?

How can the bible be accurate and unchanged if Nazareth was not a town in the time of Jesus?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazareth#Earliest_history_.26_archaeological_evidence

There is archaeological evidence from before the 1st century, there is archaeological evidence from the 2nd century, but there is no evidence for a city existing there in the 1st century.

Also, there is no cliff at all for Jesus to be thrown off, as 'documented' by Luke.

Who thinks that a Jesus came from Nazareth, and who thinks that the Nazareth part got added at a later date?

Using the second definition from the dictionary:

en·tro·py (noun)

Your thoughts, please?

I asked this question because someone I thought was a friend said something behind my back to the school principal to make me look incompetent. Instead of getting angry, I made up my mind to just forgive her, because I know deep down she's pitiful and harder on herself than I ever could be. Your opinion?

And don't pretend you don't know who/what I'm talking about. Ours was Henry as in "Does Henry want to come out and play tonight?" or "Henry is lonely." or sometimes just "Henry says HI" when were were on the phone.

I bought a gingerbread house kit to assemble with my child. It was a nightmare. There was icing everywhere and when we finally got the last piece of candy on, the shingles slid off, and the house collapsed, and everything was messed up. It was a disaster, yet the instructions showed a kid doing it. Am I just not cut out for building gingerbread houses, or does it take practice? I certainly didn't create a good holiday memory.

I posted this in the wrong section a minute ago by clicking the wrong button, I think it is in royalty.

Zeitgeist - what is commonly meant by this,
what does this mean,
what about the movie @ Zeitgeistmovie.com or something, that supposedly says God doesn't exists.

I already read the dictionary definition, so something more would be nice.

So I got this email the other day about boycotting the golden compass movie because its about killing god. I responded and told them they were acting like the religious fanatics that were boycotting Harry Potter (they all read and LOVE Harry Potter) My aunt acutally said that Pullman was a dangerous and cowardly man for seducing children into becoming atheists. I am in shock that someone I am related to can say something so irrational. I have to see these people tomorrow. How do I handle?

If he does, what's the use of praying? Will prayer change what your god has foreseen? Then his premonitions are flawed....

If he doesn't, then he's not an omniscient ("knows all") being, and ergo, not an omnipotent ("can do all") one either (If he "can't know all" then he "can't do all").....

Are we clear now?

Or will blind faith and dogma take over logic once more?

Three women were sitting around throwing back a few drinks and talking about their love lives.
One woman said, "I call my husband the dentist. Nobody can drill like he does."

The second woman giggled and confessed, "I call my husband the miner because of his incredible shaft."

The third woman quietly sipped her whiskey until her friend asked, "Say, what do you call your husband?"

She frowned and said, "The postman."

"Why the postman?"

"Because he always delivers late, and half the time it's in the wrong box."
