My best friend is coming home for thanksgiving and we're throwing a big party but i think it would be fun to theme it so everyone can dress up! we've done things like g.i. joes and army hoes.... golf pros and tennis hoes... so we obviously dressing slutty! Any good ideas please!

What do others think, here is my opinion:

The Church is the "rock" of faith. For me that is what attracted me to Catholicism. You must understand that I had become extremely disillusioned with the constant changing of theological positions in my previous church. This, I believe, is typical of Protestant churches, in that, they are just more worldly, adapting to the changes in secular morality instead of holding firm to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles. A few examples would be ordination of women, homosexuals and embracing of new gospels such as the prosperity gospel which in my opinion is ........

On a side note, why do they think we evolved from a bunch of dim-witted monkies? I have read the Bible SEVERAL times, and it never says a thing about evolving from monkeys. But, it does state that we was created by Gawd.

In the November 26th edition of the TIME magazine I was reading of an interesting article called' Going after the Money Ministries" Where a Senator Grassley will be looking into the high spending of TV evangelists such Joyce Meyers, Benny Hinn, Eddie Long, Paula White, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland. Personally, do you believe the lifestyle and living of these brothers and sisters matches the kind of life a christian should be living? We live in the New Testament dispensation.. in the dispensation of Grace and of the Church. What New Testament pattern, from the Lord Jesus to Peter or Paul, or any of the believers did we see such an extravagant kind of lifestyle? Personally I feel bothered about this. What are your honest views as CHRISTIANS on this kind of lavish lifestyle. Some use the Old testament examples to support their lifestyle. What do you think?

We have an annual x-mas exchange @ the place where I work. We give every1 a form that ask questions like: Name your favorite stores, Favorite Wine or Liquor, Name 2 DVD's &/or CD's you would like 2 have, Name your 2 favorite sports teams, 2 fav restaurants & name your favorite hobbies . I am 14 years old and am going to be staying with a family in Salzburg, Austria for three days as part of a global understanding program. Are there any kind of "culture shock" things I should know about? For example, maybe it's considered rude to... lets take a trip back in time, about 10 years will be good.
in the USA, durring the holiday season at the end of the year, we got xmas, hanukkah, and all the others. everyone puts up there own decorations at the office, at home, on cars, everywhere, just to be cheery and waste some money to have fun. no one cared, it was a blast, a time to be happy. but now, since religion had to screw everything up, and people becoming more anal and wanting to be politically correct and have good public relations, its like its all banned, rephrased and given new words that dont say the same things but we know what it really is. have u all learned nothing from south park (if you dont know what im talking about, look up all the xmas episodes and holiday episodes). so are you really offended by any of the decorations and all that stuff?
(this goes for every holiday, religious or not or if you think they are religious or not)

ok my question has to do with Judgement day... is this verse saying that those who are born again will be judges along with Christ in that day? that is my take on it, that believers are joint heirs with Jesus, to share and share alike.... paul said we will judge angels... malachi said in that day the wicked will be as ashes under our feet... if we suffer in Christ, will we not reign in Christ?
