On a side note, why do they think we evolved from a bunch of dim-witted monkies? I have read the Bible SEVERAL times, and it never says a thing about evolving from monkeys. But, it does state that we was created by Gawd.

on a more serious note: you obviously have no idea what you're talking about! The most important part of making any type of serious question involves knowledge of the subject. Nowhere in any theory of evolution does it say that "we evolved from a bunch of dim-witted monkies." Is your self-esteem so low that you can't handle the fact that we weren't always the dominant species on the planet? Evolution is a legitimate process that, well, makes SENSE! It doesn't say anything about it in the bible because when the bible was written, over those many years, we didn't have the technology to know these things. It is so unbelievably clear to me, (i too have read the bible,) that god did not create man, that it, in fact, happened the other way around. Man created god! I'll say this so that you might understand:

As a Liberal, and an atheist, of course I have no faith in the Lord.
But, just because YOU say that, doesn't mean that other liberals, do not have faith in the Lord.
You have no way of knowing what other people beside you believe. so don't go making sweeping statements like that.
As for evolving ''from monkeys's'? What an idiot you are. We are related TO the great apes. not descended 'from' them.And just because ''the bible'' says we 'was created by gawd'' DOES NOT make that statement true, either.
