matthew 13:41
the men of Nineveh shall rise with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of jonah...

ok my question has to do with Judgement day... is this verse saying that those who are born again will be judges along with Christ in that day? that is my take on it, that believers are joint heirs with Jesus, to share and share alike.... paul said we will judge angels... malachi said in that day the wicked will be as ashes under our feet... if we suffer in Christ, will we not reign in Christ?

It is actualy Mt. 12:41, and it is true believers will be part of the judging, and this is speaking about the repentant Ninevites judging the unrepentant people of Jesus time.

It is not a failed prophecy, but speaks of the resurrection of the dead and the Great White Throne judgment, which (you should thank God) is yet future (Rev. 20:11-15).

As for the answer from a (so-called) Jehovah's Witness, it is not just those baptized with the Holy Spirit (notice the definite article, He is a person) who will judge angels, but this applies to Christians in general. For such were the Corinthians (not outstanding ones either), and if you do not have the Holy Spirit within you, do do not belong to CHRIST, nor can You even see his kingdom

(Rom 8:9) "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

(John 3:3) "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

And the Judge is Jesus, who is Divine, possessing the ame uncreated nature as the Father. http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/DEITYofCHRIST.html

Thus Thomas addressed him, My Lord and my God" (John 20:28)

Those who are on His left hand in judgment must go to the same place as the devil, and also suffer eternal punishment (Mt. 25:41, 46; Rev. 20:10).

(Acts 3:19) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

To Jonah's surprise Nineveh repented.

No, as you said it is written other places.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,
THis verse above is what comes up in all of the Bibles online, NRSV, KJ, etc.

As far as you question...
It seems as though most of the apostles, or the people who wrote the gospels in their names, believed that yes we will reign along side of Jesus. We will be equals to Jesus in God's love. As far as being judges like God/Jesus - that I do not think is true, or not in any of the scholastic stuff I read when I was in college anyways. So yes, you will reign in Christ if you believe in him and God...equals and all that..joint heirs is the best way to put it. Joint heirs in God. Only God can judge however.

a million. No the devil is a spirit being and is not any longer constrained through the particular limits of time and area. even regardless of the indisputable fact that there will be a time whilst he would be forged into the bottomless pit through a robust angel a while interior the destiny for a million,000 years. 2. the character of the devil's means is often how plenty we willingly or unknowingly enable him to have over humanity. So the devil makes use of deception and lies for the fact isn't in him. The devil isn't a being of affection yet of concern and hate. in fact all that the devil is God isn't for the devil is a being who completely does no longer want God in any respect or any area of him. The devil opposes something to do with God. The devil hates guy the main because of the fact we are the only being it somewhat is created in God's photograph. 3. No the devil does no longer be responsive to each little thing. The devil does no longer have the suggestions of God to be responsive to something different than that that's revealed interior the holy scriptures. he's a bully and tried to bully himself against the Son of God who's Jesus Christ and Jesus defeated him with the observe of God that's extra effectual than any 2 edged sword. 4. The devil isn't an omnipresent being as God so he can't be each and every on an identical time. those are my suggestions in accordance with my expertise of God's observe.

Those of the heavenly class who are baptized in holy spirit to become spirit creatures will indeed be judges along with Christ. That is the reason they partake of the emblems to accept the position as judges.

Luke 22:28-30
But ye are they that have continued with me in my temptations;
and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me,
that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

1 Corinthians 6:2-5
Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?
If then ye have to judge things pertaining to this life, do ye set them to judge who are of no account in the church?

John 5:22
For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;

Those who think they are going to heaven and do not know they are to judge or who think they will live human fleshly lifes, marry, etc., have not been born again/baptized in God's spirit as it reveals this personally to them. Such should not partake of the emblems of Christ's remembrance.

Christ is the only richeous judge, so I think he will judge the sinners, but we will rule.

That verse, I think if refering to those people at that time, taking over a physical place.

Charles is right. Jonah was surprised.

We will reign with Christ...as we are joint heirs.

When we suffer in Christ, our reward awaits us in heaven.

Peace and grace to you!
