Most people say the us refers to God and Christ but he would have just said my son so should we take it mean many other people besides God and Christ like Enoch andn other folks like that?

Do you know the bible. Right in Genesis it says "Let us make man in our image" I think has to be more than just the trinity concept since the Jewish people did not even have an awareness of Christ at that time.

The "us" in Genesis could not have been talking about people because there weren't any. You have to look at who the writer is speaking to in order to determine who the "us" is in the scriptures.

It is referring to what we now call the "trinity" - The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit together as one God. Although before Jesus walked on earth he was called the Word (Genesis 1, 1 John 1).

You would have to give some specific references. I can think of several "us" that refer to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and others that refer to other beings, both in heaven and on earth.

You will need to list a few references for an answer.

That is a very broad question..."Us" can refer to any number of things pertaining to God. You need to take it verse by verse, and remember that meanings of words change from the Old to the New Testament.

Also, you can't assume that the people who wrote the Bible gospels, both new and old, would have spoken like us. That was thousands of years ago, so no, he maybe would not have said "my son."
