Have you ever had any prophetic dreams?

My aunt has had a few prophetic dreams and I was wanting to know if any of you have had dreams that come true or are a warning? If have, please share the details.

I don’t know if it is prophetic or not, I hope not, but I had a dream once that seemed much more like a vision. My countenance change within me.

I was around sixteen years old, way back before I knew anything about the Bible. I was asleep in my top bunk next to the window. It was a hot summer night and the moon was bright in the southern sky. I woke up to discover people out in the street and they were all gawking at the moon. I got out of my bed and walked outside. The moon was turning from orange to red and pulsing back and forth. It was enormous in the sky. All of the sudden the moon exploded like Chinese fireworks into a magnificent orange ball and everyone gasped.

Then this fiery display of moon debris turned into what appeared to be a swarm of insects headed straight for earth. I was froze in shock as I watched it descend strait at us. As this strange phenomenon streamed closer I began to make out human faces in the orange debris. They were people, people of pure fire. They had the face of people but bodies made of flames. I could hear people screaming and I turned to run in fear and terror; the primal terror of a rabbit when he realizes that he is in the mouth of the wolf.

As I ran I could feel something coming up behind me. I fell to the ground in horror; as I fell I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I turned to look and saw the most frightening thing I can ever imagine. That face, that fiery face ready to devour me.

Suddenly I awoke in my bed covered with sweat and choked with fear. The moon was shining bright in the southern sky right outside my window.

Three times now I've had dreams that tell me that a friend or relative will die soon, usually within 3 days. In the first dream I was crossing a street in my hometown and saw an old acquaintance. I knew she'd been ill but honestly I thought she had already died. In the dream she was the picture of health and I mentioned to her that she looked great but I thought she'd been ill. She told me in the dream that she had been sick but she was much better now. Three days later this woman died.

I also got a 3-day warning before my grandfather died. We thought he had a few more months left in him so it's not like I was just anticipating the inevitable. In the dream I was walking down a hospital hallway and overheard someone asking my mother about her father. She replied that her father had just died. By this time I recognized the dream for what it was, and I made sure to visit Grandpa that day.

Another time I had the 3-day warning dream for a relative I barely knew. He hadn't been ill and his death was a complete surprise, so this is another dream I cannot attribute to my subconcious dredging up an event I was already anticipating.

Yes, and so have some other of my family. It seems to run in some families more than others. The trouble with prophetic dreams is that you can't really separate between the truly prophetic ones and the ones that came from that little extra bit of chicken salad u had for supper. So for me and some other aunts, cousins and other extended family members, if we do get dreams that seem to relate to real life, we are just slightly more careful. Thats all. To take it as more than that would be to live our lives in fear and confusion.

I once dreamed I was sitting in the middle of a huge field. A dark cloud came over and a multi-colored chain hung from the midst of it. I was sitting on the ground with my legs crossed and the chain dropped right into my lap. I asked "what does this mean?" A voice told me that I was to tell people everywhere that Jesus will be coming back soon.

I had a couple of other ones, at 2 other times. They were different but very moving, also..

yes i have, many. in fact over the last 2 months i've had 7. nothing of any importance. i'll give you one example. one night i dreampt that my son was placing watermelons on shelves in a store. it was odd to me since he works in a fast food joint. the next day at dinner he told me he wanted to put a resume in at the grocery store because their looking for stock people.

could it be coincidence? yes, but not with how often it happens to me.

edit: bobkat doesn't allow email, so maybe she'll look here again. it's interesting that she talks about the 3 day warning. every since i was young, i will occasionally have dreams about someone i haven't seen or heard from in ages. it was always within 3 days after the dream that i would have contact with them somehow. sometimes it was indirect like running into their mother somewhere, but usually it was running into them or getting a phone call from them. it hasn't happened in quite some time now, but i always pay attention when it does.

i wonder what the significance is. i know that the humber 3 is important in many religions.....hmmmmmm.....

All are already stored they the place stored over 2000 years in the past, it is accepting Salvation via the Redeemer the Lord Jesus Christ . I trust you they could be scripturally sound, yet from my own experience via the working of the Holy Spirit, there is extremely some cleansing out and in case you're no longer careful you'll be led off course and tempted through your guy or woman interpretation rather of searching for the fullness of His reality and observe, the very middle of reality. I nevertheless after 3 years wait and contemplate and seek for conformation of issues I hear and notice in cohesion with the Lord earlier even discussing it with anybody and that's continually my husband first. We study scripture I pray extra I ask and He exhibits me and tells me in many, many diverse strategies and via others. some issues are even to plenty for clarification. How do you clarify starting to be bodily unwell (throwing up, trembling, no longer being waiting to respire, etc...) whilst in prayer, cohesion and meditation of the final Supper and the Crucifixion of Christ on the bypass. I see what he exhibits me, I hear what he says, I bodily react to it, How do you clarify that. i've got in no way study any of the flaws in that link so i've got not got an opinion of them. he's calling His toddlers. yes maybe less than a dozen major ones but all dreams seem to be for reason. Dreams are the work of G-d.

Well.......I dreamed one night that I was going to the bathroom......and the next morning.....wouldn't you know it.....I went.
