I asked this question because someone I thought was a friend said something behind my back to the school principal to make me look incompetent. Instead of getting angry, I made up my mind to just forgive her, because I know deep down she's pitiful and harder on herself than I ever could be. Your opinion?

Many times. Forgiven and forgotten all about it.

I've also forgiven people for things I have not forgotten about.

that's impossible to no longer. answer a query and a few people might have a circulate, see somebody with thoroughly the different answer and others might have a circulate at them. there's a becoming area of society it relatively is quite hypocritical, they get so talked approximately as 'indignant' a minimum of 20 circumstances an afternoon and once you look at their previous questions and solutions the entire 'i'm desirable' frount disintigrates. it form of feels to be the 'in element' that we are all now so soft, so actual injury, etc that i'm stunned a number of those people have surely controlled to lived see you later. you purely might desire to permit it circulate simply by fact whilst it relatively is a case of no rely what you assert will offend somebody, that how are you able to ever win? do no longer enable them to get to you and in no way might desire to you adjust your comments on any undertaking, your attitude and your opinion is purely valid as theirs.

Doesn't sound like forgiveness to me. I know i wouldn't call someone i liked pitiful if i had forgiven them for anything.

If you're calling her "pitiful" I wonder if you've truly forgiven her at all. You can't forgive and keep a grudge. But it is certainly right to forgive whether the person knows about it or not. It benefits YOU.

You have such a good heart, Semper. I love the way you
seem to help bring out the best in me, along with Gods help.
Forgiving is such a good thing. I have to forgive everyone
who's ever offended me( whether they know it or not ), because, I know that Jesus forgave me for all my sin's,even the ones I don't remember committing. God Is SOOOOO Good.

Sweet Blessings To You.

Yes, I have. You will never regret your decision. Holding a grudge only hurts oneself. Forgiveness frees you from internal turmoil. We all make mistakes, so we need to forgive others and hope they do the same when we make our own mistakes.

That's part of what happens when you grow up. To hold onto your anger would have made you upset, but have no effect on her. Letting it go is kinder to yourself, in the end.

I tend to do the same thing; I feel sorry that the person is not content enough within themselves to treat people better; but it is not my fight, it is theirs.

In Jack's case, it is more likely that people have many times forgiven him without his even realizing he has offended.

I am rather oblivious, and experience has taught me that I offend without recognizing it. I am grateful that I am often forgiven, as well.

yes I forgave everyone but it's their own jealousy that eat them up and the bad luck that they get is from their own sin not from my curse I got wings I don't have to do anything but having peace in my spirit.
