Or is that chocolate industry hype? Before anybody else points it out, I know the Aztecs didn't make chocolate bars like we do now.

I know they definitely seemed to use chocolate a lot in their food. It was a readily available food source, so why not? However, their chocolate was not sweet like ours - it was pretty bitter, almost like coffee.

no you have cocoa mixed up with coca,a common error ,probably due to a poor translation.
