Most people dont "convert" to scientology. They keep their own religion and take scientology courses. Scientology is non-denominational. They believe in God and do not have conflicting believes that make them condemn other religions.
As far as taking their courses? Yeah I took some. Good stuff. I still use it all the time.

Choosing your religion or spiritual path by following Tom Cruise or other celebrities is stupid!
But then you knew that when you asked the question. Trolling again??
By the way you don't "convert" to Scientology. It's not that
kind of religion.

No, the Anonynmi have got Scientology right. It is a cult, and should be torn down and eliminated. The Co$ uses Tom as a recruiting tool, so don't be surprised if he does encourage people to join.

the question you sould be asking is ' what am i doing here on this earth'? not why do we still have religion.
once you understand what you are here for then you will understand the meaning of life.
i think with most human beings they do not answer this question correctly and thus the fighting and wars you see in ur life.
obviously if we use our intelligence we can come to the conclusion that man was created, this is because man is limited, it relies on food and air. and also if ppl do not belive man is created then why can we not create a single man, give them a functioning body and brain?
and once we have answered this question, we can then look around us and come to the same conclusion aout the wrold, i.e the world is limited it relies on the sun and water and this means the world is not created as well. now moving onto the universie we cannot sense its bountries but we know it is limited. this is becasue we can use our intelligence to come to the conclusion that everything INSIDE the universie is limited, i.e earth, moon sun, mercury etc. Thus the universie is limited as its components are limited.
So after all this the intellect man would come to the conclusion that there is a creator who is unlimited and does not relay on ANYTHING.
Nowu got to ask urself why was i created, what does the creator want from me? the only way to find out is ask the creator, but we will not get a response. But the creator CAN communicate to all of us using a MESSENGER (Prophets)
These prophets cannot be just any1, they need to perform a mircle in order prove they are messengers. A mircle that no1 else can match, a mircle that is a gift from the creator only.
So now we look into our history books and can see that he messengers of the creator all had a mircle, i.e. jesus could bring the dead back to life, moses could turn a stick into a snake, abraham did not get burnt by fire.
all these messengers had a mircle and brought a message to its ppl, but the mircle finished with these ppl when they passed away.
The only mircle that is still alive and will be till the end of time is the QURAN. This is because no humanbeing can write anything in arabic anything close to the quran. it is the speech of the CREATOR because we know who ever wrote it has given every man a challange. in the QURAN the challange is to match its words that consist of three lines. But as we all know no human being or ppl put together have been able to match this challange. So if human beings cannot write three lines that match the QURAN they cannot obviously write the whole of the QURAN.
So using our intellect we can confirm the QURAN is NOT from MAN but can only be from a CREATOR.
And now my frinds you have answered one of the MAIN questions of life!!!

Scientology is the product of a science fiction writer named L. Ron Hubbard, are the "sacred" manuscripts of Scientology, which is the closest thing to a religious mafia the last century ever saw
L. Ron Hubbard is reverenced as god by Scientology, which is very very deceptive organization that puts on a front of philanthropy and religion and uses certain celebrities to PR it's image, while engaging in extreme deception, greed and unfeeling ruthlessness which reveals it's true nature.
Below are just a few of Hubbard's unholy "Beastly-attitudes":
"Show me any person who is critical of us and I'll show you crimes and intended crimes that would stand a magistrate's hair on end." - L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Bulletin, 4 April 1965
"Somebody some day will say 'this is illegal.' By then be sure the orgs [Scientology organizations] say what is legal or not."- L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter, 4 January 1966, "LRH Relationship to Orgs"
"If attacked on some vulnerable point by anyone or anything or any organization, always find or manufacture enough threat against them to cause them to sue for peace." - L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter, 15 August 1960, Dept. of Govt. Affairs
"The purpose of the suit is to harass and discourage rather than to win. The law can be used very easily to harass, and enough harassment on somebody who is simply on the thin edge anyway, well knowing that
he is not authorized, will generally be sufficient to cause his professional decease. If possible, of course, ruin him utterly."- L. Ron Hubbard, A MANUAL ON THE DISSEMINATION OF MATERIAL, 1955
"When we need somebody haunted we investigate...When we investigate we do so noisily always."- L. Ron Hubbard, MANUAL OF JUSTICE, 1959
"So we listen. We add up associations of people with people. When a push against Scientology starts somewhere, we go over the peopleinvolved and weed them out. Push vanishes." - L. Ron Hubbard, MANUAL OF JUSTICE, 1959
"A truly Suppressive Person or group has no rights of any kind and actions taken against them are not punishable." - L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter, 1 March 1965, HCO (Division 1) "Ethics, Suppressive Acts, Suppression of Scientology and Scientologists"

Oh, of course! I have a secret desire to have others consider me a nutjob.
And of course, since celebrities are much more worthwhile human beings than the rest of us, we should always model our lives like theirs.
Seriously though, of all the false prophet wackos you could follow, none are so sublimely goofy as L. Ron Hubbard. Oy vey!

I wouldn't trust any religion less than 1,000 years old. If it can last that long, then just possibly there will be more to it than somebody with a super sized ego, and a bunch of celebrties without two brain cells to rub together.

No - anybody who 'joins' a religion just becasue a celebrity is a believer is such an idiot. You need to find your own calling.

Should I join an invented religion that believes in ET souls, requires a lot of money to get to the "upper" levels of enlightenment and requires women to give birth in total silence even when in extreme pain. Oh yeah, they aren't fond of homosexuality either.
No thanks.
