I've seen this guy around and he's just not worth it. Not him. Not imasis2. Not Oregon Flower. And not any of the others who have been around but continue to change their avatars so as not to raise suspicions. I applaud you for standing up for your beliefs but I have to believe you've got better things to do with your time than to consistently try to fight demons that are determined not to go away. I say the best defense is to ignore them. They're like bullies who like to get a rise out of people, kind of like an older brother who won't stop poking even though dad threatened to turn the car around and go home. They're not going to listen. But maybe that's just me.

Lets say you take up all the dirt and rocks and vegetation of a holy place and moved it somewhere else, leaving nothing but a hole that is one mile deep in the original location. would the holy land now be the new place where you put the dirt and rocks and vegetation or the old location with the hole?

My daughter and I were having a discussion this weekend and she said according to the Mayan Calendar that the world will cease to exist on December 21, 2012. Evidentally, everything that they have predicted has came true thus far.

i'm confused on this idea that people make a choice to be gay. the reasoning given is that it is not natural because only men and women can procreate. this idea just seems to open a whole can of worms of side topics though. first on the issue of gayness being a choice, to say that would imply that heterosexuality is a choice as well. and if that's the case you can't really argue that heterosexuality is natural. i don't believe nature is open to choice. example, if i drop a ball, the natural thing for the ball to do is fall to the ground. the ball does not have a choice. on the argument that only male/female couples can procreate, shouldn't this statement be reworded? it is a rather broad field. why not just go one step further and say only humans can create humans? so two humans of the same sex can create another human. of course not. only a man and a woman can create another human? of course not. only a potent man and a fertile woman can reproduce? yes.

I heard that the positions of planets change their houses/angles when one migrates to distant land (from his native country). If this happens then a person's life transforms completely. Moreover, this school of thought suggests that the planet's position vary even between the locations on east and west coast of the United States. So, if an Indian whose fate is very bad might really be fortunate if he migrates to the United States. - and furhter if he moves to either east coast/west coast/southern US.

I wish to know if anyone has realized this in his / her life.

the reason for this question,i grew up catholic, got baptised, had my first holy communion, did classes and church every sunday.this was my upbrining all my life, but i really didnt understand or get it until i was 45, and it didn't come from all my training and school?it came from a close friend, who told me to accept christ as my savior and ask for forgiveness?now it all makes sence and i really truely believe. he's out there, he loves us, and he wants us happy, all we have to do is ask.can you believe its that simple?how come certain religions make it so hard to understand, or so hard to feel accepted?has anyone else had the same thing happen to them?

We believe that Jesus Christ knelt in the Garden of Gethsemene and took upon himself the sins of the world. That he died on the cross and arose three days later so that we may have hope in the ressurection for Eternal life. We believe that Jesus organized his church while on this earh. We believe that he arose into heaven and sits on the right hand of God awaiting the second coming.

I definately know what I think, I'm a gay man, but that's beside the point. What is posh spice playing at? This photo is not at all attractive, she looks like a big s.lut, with no class.

Ya, I know this question is in the GLBT section, but that is my intention. I want gay feedback from males and females.

I can't believe I'm wasting points asking this 'stupid' question, but I'm curious.

as a christmas gift to my close friends, i want to invite them over for dinner. i don't want it to be a huge party just a nice dinner gathering. but it seems that when i invite people, they invite someone and they invite someone else and so on. then i end up with a bunch of people over at my house whom i do not know. this would be okay normally but not for this particular gathering.

can someone give me advice on how to word the invites as an 'invite only' thing without sounding brash?

thanks all!!

I posted an answer describing how happy and successful my marriage is and received a thumbs down for my answer. Is this strictly a Christian view?

What are your opinions on the subject?

This base matter from which we are built
Is starstuff

Transformed from frozen light and made animate with the spirit of the universe manifest

In a living alchemy that transforms

The base matter we are made from into the resonant Gold that is life

Tied by a silver chord into creation.

We are the stuff of stars forged into flesh from base matter.

Are you living Alchemy?

I read somewhere that the cults always use guilt over some natural act or desire to keep people loyal to the cult.

what are your thoughts on this?
