If you were to die tonght would you go to heaven? If so, why? ANd please do not respond it is up to God. Becuase it isn't if you read the bible you would know the answer. God gave us free will to choose heaven or hell. If you do not know where you are going then please consider the fact that you will not go to heaven. If you wish to argue with me I will be on yahoo messenger as much as possible.

Do people have morals? I'm sure you would agree with me that a 40 yr old man who raped a 4 yr old daughter is appalling. That is a belief but why do you have it if there is no God? No God means we are beast like animals. And animals don't care. Or explain how some people have "gifts" and talents. Abilities others don't such as athletes, musicians, public speakers. How did they gain these things and with science prove to me what my child will be good at. What about the 'laws of the universe' all matter obey certain laws. Why is it that? And who or what created those laws? You can't say it just happend because something can't come from nothing. Why do we stand upright if it is bad for our backs? If evolution was true why then? we should have been bent like monkeys. Perhaps we are created in God's image. Through God I can explain these things. But please atheist explain it to me from science why does everyone have a unique thumb print?

"The rectum was not meant as a way-in"...Neither were earlobes made to be pierced or hair to be cut. And being a homosexual does not necessarily imply engaging in sexual intercourse.

"It's unnatural"...So is wearing deodorant or driving cars or smoking.

"[being gay] invites infections and damage to the anus and possibly internal damage, too."...so does engaging in heterosexual, unprotected intercourse.

"becuase (sic) its gross"...It's just an opinion, like 'obese people who gorge junk at McDonalds are what exactly?'

"its stupid and God says its not right and wat (sic) he says goes and BTW it causes aids".....no comments on this one.

"Indeed, today's "gay" culture is equally dissolute, and its agenda is anathema to the bedrock institution of our past, present and future -- the American family.".....so whatever happened to the American values of freedom, EQUALITY, and fraternity?

"Free will makes possible the only kind of love worth living for, Heterosexual Love.".....Contradiction

I have a friend who knows a little bit about religion and I don't know if he was just pulling my chain or not, but he said that one of God's arch angels, either Michael or Gabriel, used to be on Lucifer's side and joined forces with him in the war of Heaven but then redeemed himself later and is now up there in Heaven again.

If this is correct, then that means that humans can have just as much of a fair chance as an arch angel, it's only fair.
This would mean that Michael was probably in Hell or kicked out of Heaven for a while, and then got back somehow. Why would an arch angel get a second chance in the afterlife but humans never have that same second chance? That makes no sense to me at all.

It's not even worth marrying a girl nowadays, you're probably bound to get garbage (yes, I know there are exceptions, and I you are going to say that you are the exception, but I am generalizing here). Agree? Disagree? Comment

Fundies spred a very attractive idea: All true Christians have an absolute assurance of salvation, once they accept Jesus into their hearts as "their personal Lord and Savior." The problem is that this belief is contrary to the Bible & constant Christian teaching.

Recall this Scripture: "If we have died with him [in baptism; see Rom. 6:3-4] we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him" (2 Tim. 2:11-12). So, ff we do NOT persevere, we shall NOT reign with him. In other words, Christians can forfeit heaven. Jesus tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). Ergo, if you do not endure to the end, well........

The Bible makes it clear that Christians have a moral assurance of salvation (God will be true to his word and will grant salvation to those who have faith in Christ and are obedient to him [1 John 3:19-24]), but the Bible does NOT teach that Christians have a guarantee of heaven.
