If islam is the successor to Christianity why do they disagree utterly

Jesus saves a girl from stoning

M'mmed says it's ok for a woman to be punished in this way

why rewrite that with the masculine attitude at the time

They came to arrest Jesus and he submits

They come for m'mmed and he fights back and kills them

He laid seige to mecca and destroys asll the christians there, yes it was a christian country bvefore an islamic one,

Jesus says no marriage in heaven
M'mmed says there is amrriage in heaven

Jesus confirms the 10 commandments
So does Moses
They live thousands of years apart and say the same message

Jesus gave himself up to his transgressors as he lived by his words:thy shalt not kill

If jesus never said eh was the son of God why did they kil him

and if it is Judas who you cliam was actually killed instead
then the jews still saught to kill jesus originally, so why did they seek to kill him

Just that one question for my muslim friends

Why did the Jews kill jesus

Isn't it safe to say that something that cannot be tested for, or measured is outside of reality?

Romans 11 : 20 - 23

Well ; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear : For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest He also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God : on them which fell, severity ; but toward thee, goodness, IF thou continue in His goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

From a Christian point of view, meaning Jesus was sent to Earth to inevitably repent the sins of the human race, does this mean that there is no other extra-terrestrial life. And if so does it mean that they are sin-free?
If god sent his only son to repent our human sins does that mean we are the epitome of sin. This is in contrast to other hypothetical beings which would be created from the same God but not have his only son sacrificed to save them?

BBC News 24 and the Telegraph newspaper reported the death of a 22 year old JW wife, Emma Gough, who hemorrhaged to death after giving birth to twins. She'd signed a medical directive refusing blood transfusion and her JW husband stuck with her decision. This happened in Telford, Shropshire, England. The link is telegraph.co.uk/news.main.

jhtml?xml=/news/2007/11/05/nblood105.xml

All the husband had to do was consent to emergency transfusion, then once his wife came round tell her he was so sorry, truly repented and wouldn't do it again (and neither he would) and if she loved him she would forgive him for his momentary insanity (due to emotional distress). Then new-born twins would still have a mother AND a father. How is this husband going to live with himself now? What is he going to say to God on the Day of Judgment? 'Well, YOU told me not to!' God might say, 'No, your religious leaders told you not to. Acts 15 has nothing to do with saving life via blood.'

It doesn't necessarily have to be something that will get eaten. I'd just like to make it be a nice presentation. Also, what can I put in the opening of the turkey. I cook the stuffing seperate, for health reasons, and don't bother putting it in the turkey once everything is cooked because of my picky hubby. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.

For the past week, everyone has been setting off fireworks in their back gardens, celebrating Halloween and Bonfire Night.
This terrifies animals, and is a noise nuissance to everyone who's not interested in it.
Right at this very moment, I have a terrified dog shaking and trembling at my feet, as explosions are going off in the street outside my house.
Does anyone agree that fireworks should be restricted to professionally run and officially organised displays only?
After all, these aren't toys. They're pyrotechnics. In effect, they're small bombs.

The answer is no to all of the above.

Some theists, either in ignorance or sheer dishonesty, bring up the case of Anthony Flew, a former atheist who has since converted.

Even in his conversion, he still mocks Christianity, and holds strictly to Deism. But beyond that, it appears the man is not well, mentally, as a new NY Times article shows. Some Christians wrote a book and slapped his name on it, even though Flew couldn't remember extremely basic scientific terms in the book, even though Flew couldn't remember philosphers who were cited HEAVILY in the book.

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/04/magazine/04Flew-t.html?pagewanted=5&_r=1

So my question is, because Flew is merely a Deist, and because it is quite clear he is not all there anymore, why do some Christians bring him up as if it is some great victory?

A little boy gets lost while in the supermarket with his dad.

He's taken sobbing to the store manger and tearfully tells him:

"I've lost my daddy."

"What's he like?" asks the concerned manager.

Little boy replies, " Beer, football and ladies with big boobs!"

While I believe in neither, if you believe Satan controls people, doesn't that make him more powerful than his associated deity?

A god that won't control people for any reason would, by definition, be weaker than any being that did control people...and if he didn't do anything about that other being controling people, doesn't he agree with that by inaction?

There seem to be many Christians who believe in a Satan that is way stronger than any god and has all sorts of abilities that he doesn't have in the Bible, so I'm trying to reason this out.

When someone claims that disagreement with them makes the one(s) disagreeing "controlled by Satan," aren't they flattering Satan?

How is flattering Satan different from worshipping him?

First, understand that When we die, we undergo our individual judgment. Scripture says that "it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment" (Heb. 9:27). We are judged instantly and receive our reward, for good or ill, Heaven or Hell. There is no second chance after that.

Now, Purgatory is ONLY FOR THE SAVED. It is NOT a second chance, and it is NOT a third place. If I were to make an analogy; Imagine two houses across the street from each other. One house is Heaven, and one house is Hell. Now, imagine that on the front porch of the Heaven house there is a shower, because nothing unclean can enter the Heaven house. Well that porch and that shower is Purgatory. As the Bible says, "nothing unclean shall enter [heaven]" (Rev. 21:27).

Rodney L. Rodis, age 51, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, pleaded guilty today to mail fraud and money laundering

Rodis established bank accounts and a post office box over which he exercised authority. He then directed his parishioners to mail their contributions to this post office box, afterwhich he would then transfer the checks to his personal bank account. He used some of the money for his own himself and his spouse and three biological children, whom he concealed from his parishioners by living approximately 50 miles from his church location. He also laundered some of the proceeds and wired them abroad to family in the Philippines, who purchased, among other things, real property in the Philippines.

I've only been able to find a few songs here and there but I would really like to get the whole album. My mom used to play it for me when I was a kid and I loved it, and now I'd like the chance to play it for my son this Christmas. Apparently it is available on one site but only for US residents and I'm in Canada. If anybody could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
