I checked for last year and I guess it was at the end of November. I would like to go with friends, so I just wanted to know the time and date if anyone from Boston knows. It's the HUGE Christmas tree they light up every year! THANKS A BUNCH!!

Boston Official Tree Lighting Ceremony

Thu 11/29 (6PM) at Boston Common Charles St. and Beacon St. , Boston, MA

Check out the tree lighting on Boston Common this holiday season as Mayor Menino flips the switch that will light the night. From the Public Garden bridge to the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, the city will be aglow with holiday cheer.

This annual event is a glowing Boston tradition and a spectacle to behold -- thousands of visitors come for carolers, performances, and a guest appearance by the jolly man himself.
