"The rectum was not meant as a way-in"...Neither were earlobes made to be pierced or hair to be cut. And being a homosexual does not necessarily imply engaging in sexual intercourse.
"It's unnatural"...So is wearing deodorant or driving cars or smoking.
"[being gay] invites infections and damage to the anus and possibly internal damage, too."...so does engaging in heterosexual, unprotected intercourse.
"becuase (sic) its gross"...It's just an opinion, like 'obese people who gorge junk at McDonalds are what exactly?'
"its stupid and God says its not right and wat (sic) he says goes and BTW it causes aids".....no comments on this one.
"Indeed, today's "gay" culture is equally dissolute, and its agenda is anathema to the bedrock institution of our past, present and future -- the American family.".....so whatever happened to the American values of freedom, EQUALITY, and fraternity?
"Free will makes possible the only kind of love worth living for, Heterosexual Love.".....Contradiction

"You cant reproduce if your gay, and its just not right"....countless 'straight' couples can't have babies.
"Homosexuality is a perversion, and it is the result of lust."....Far more acts of lust are driven by our own hormones than by the choices we make. Again, being gay is not a sex-only relationship.
"They do not help propagate the spieces (sic) and that is counter intuative to survival"...well, so are WAR and GUNS
and finally, this majestic jewel of piety:
"I don't need to be a Christian to know what little kids and people think about anyone putting something in their anus, particularly a penis. "Eww, YUCK, STINKY, DOO DOO, owch...." etc etc....The natural thought processes we have, the "innocent ones" are now absolutely polluted with conditioning... see MY generation wasn't conditioned and we aren't as open with what naturally repulses us and was collectively viewed as obscene and perverted , not to mention filthy until very recently by North America.".....no further questions

You're already arguing about this ad nauseam. Keep your arguments simple.
For example:
More anal sex is had by heterosexuals than by homosexuals.

That particular religion has done so much damage to the world that if there is a God he should have gave them the smite before they got completely out of control. I read in the Bible, around the same area where it talks about homosexuality that they shouldn't wear mixed fibers. So all that polyester swishing into church every Sunday is blaspheming them straight to hell. And what about eating pork? Man those fat bacon asses are in TROUBLE!! I have no problem people practicing their religion. If it helps them get through the day good for them. But that particular religions followers will stand right there in your face and tell you that you are going to hell for whatever and then turn around and do something that it states clearly in their Bible that they shouldn't do. Talk about picking and choosing sins. And if the love of money is bad those mega churches are so gonna pay..

Hmmmm. Your identify says "Christians and Muslims: do you have non-scriptural motives for believing that gay intercourse is immoral?" yet you state "i understand that many Christians (and a few Muslims i understand to boot) have not got any situation in any respect with homosexuality, and that i'm no longer posing the query at them." and then come back to ask "the thank you to additionally make a ethical judgment some sexual act basically on the inspiration of the gender of the members. is this simply by fact of proscriptions in holy texts, or are there different motives?" you're being wishy-washy. the respond is: Christians and Muslims have self assurance the act of gay intercourse is immoral be simply by fact the middle of their faith says this is incorrect and the middle of their faith is GOD.

Nope... notta one...
Wait - because they don't get a tax break? I guess we could always remedy that!
I'm confused.... Is all anal sex wrong or just homosexual anal sex? and most of the arguments I hear are about Male homosexual behavior... so where does that put lesbians?
Edit: for the "the population would die out" arguement... Really? Seriously? so if you are gay you can't have a child? I never knew!!! I mean I understand that it is more difficult, but there are ways people... open your minds to another way of thinking...

A penis and a vagina go together...1 inside of the other. Two vaginas or 2 penises just is not right. It's not the natural order of things. We have sex, not just for pleasure, but also to reproduce. Two males or 2 females cannot reproduce. Picture the world if we were all homosexual. We would eventually cease to exist. It's all logical to me

Why would you ask a Christian for a Non-scriptural reason?
But hey....I'm flexible
Homosexual partners.......either by marriage or legal domestic partnerships will allow a surviving spouse to collect Social Sercurity Benefits which will make an already endangered program go bankrupt faster.....in case you don't know...that means YOU and I quite possibly might not be able to collect anything when we retire because it will all be gone.
Homesexuals have BY FAR the greatest instance of AIDS and others health issues than any other group of people due to their sexual practices..........Don't believe my word...Goggle it.
By including gay partners on insurance plans, the many more instances of health related issues will drive costs out of sight FOR EVERYONE!.......that means you and me too.
Shall I go on?
Are you willing to foot these bills for people to play with their gay friends..................I'm not

Being gay is a result. Therefor it is not a sin unto death . But the homosexual acts are. We are told to control our urges. This applies to heterosexuals too. It isn't easy for either one but that is the law. So repentance is needed after every fall.

The plain answer to this is, there is none. It is not wrong. And who ever said it was wrong? if you want a better understanding of Christ and what he thought about homosexuals, read a book called the sealed portion. You don't have to but if you are truly wanting to know.

In all reality there is no reason, outside the Bible, why homosexuality is wrong. If you ignore the Bible then you must live your life to make yourself happy, even if that involves something like being gay and endangering yourself with the risks involved.
The Bible is clear-cut on homosexuality, but outside of that men have practiced homosexuality since 1500B.C.

Sir Oliver, for Christians, scriptural foundation is all there is. If the Bible speaks out against anything, we (Christians) don't need any other reason to be against it. We often, however, try to give other 'reasons' because for people who don't believe in the Bible, a scriptural reason is ineffective. But in the end, our main focus is to promote Godly living among everyone.
