actually- your question isn't really far from the truth.
For eons, men had no answers for all the questions he would ask about the world around him, and god existed everywhere there was a question he couldn't answer. Everything seemed like magic back then.

Now- there is much less that we don't understand about the world (universe). So, god exists only at the edges of our understanding.

So, if the GPS unit is a symbol of modern knowledge and technology- you are quite correct. It has replaced so much of what ancient man looked to god for.

That's why you need a compass backup. Or a sextant, a road map, or stars. Or a good buddy to point you the way. They're all more useful than your alternative.

Good question! Use Energizers next time! GPS units tell you where to go and Jesus will tell you where to GO!

You are like all other males! Just stop at any gas station and they will tell you how to get where you need to be.

I have The Only One Jesus Who Is My Only Savior;
You are lost (and you need Him badly);
No, I don't need anything or anyone else!
God bless you!

I never understood why I need a god (or the god that is his own son) to tell me where I am.

I am here.
