A lot of protestants (and others) say that catholics worship statues. I've personally had people say I put more trust and faith in my rosary then I do in God.

Just because we face something during prayer does not mean we are praying to it. None of you claim jews pray to the wailling (sp?) wall. It helps me to completly focus during prayer when I have an item that I use to religiously. It helps remind you, helps you think in a religious sence.

If you pray kneeling down against your bed you are not praying to the bed are you? I do not understand how this is different for us- we are not praying to status. At most, we are asking people to pray for us- and yes, we believe they can hear us.

How is a statue wrong then?

I've been reading up on this online (something I normally don't like to do with this sort of thing), but I've come across a couple of websites that place Loki as, no less, Head of the Vanir. Now when I read the Eddas, it seems he is Aesir. I'm just wondering if maybe I'm missing something here?

Isn't the drawing light thereof merciful of & by itself,
but the cage thereof merciless to all little buggers?

So then: How does any little bugger make it
to the drawing light, without getting zapped?

Is God the light, or the zapper?
Is Jesus the zapper or the light?

John 6:44 No man can come to me,
except the Father which hath sent me draw him?

Hmmm, perhaps "the Father" is not same as "our Father"?
What sort of Father would draw little buggers to their death?

When Jesus was executed by the local Jerusalem politicians, two other men were executed by crucifixion too. So this means there was a parade of three crosses through Jerusalem carried by three different men.

What ever happened to those two other crosses (the good thief and bad thief)?

Have archeologists discovered them? Are those two other crosses in a religious museum in Jerusalem?
