or is it just entertainment for you?
be honest if it's possible.

(And let's get the moronic predictable 'yeah' and 'no' answers out of the way first by those who just want to score points on Yahoo)

First, if you can't or won't answer a *hypothetical* question, then this question isn't for you :)

If someone were to find and authenticate a lost book of the Bible in which God or Jesus states that Texas belongs to the Israelites, would you defend their right to take over Texas?

Since so many people believe in the Trinity, can someone supply me the scripture that shows us where Jesus and his disciples teached this VERY important issue????? For that matter, Can someone find any scripture that mentions “Trinity”?
Can someone find any scripture that says that God is made up of three distinct persons, Father, Son, and holy spirit, but that the three are only one God? Can someone find any scripture that says that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal in ALL ways, such as in eternity, power, position, and wisdom?

... or it just "is," and we're supposed to accept that as an answer?

Most say they know it had a beginning (the big bang left the Background Microwave Radiation) and they know it will have an end (either through heat-death or big crunch), but the fact of it's existence is just to be accepted as an unsolvable mystery.

Hmmm....ancient, just is, unsolvable mystery....remind you of anyone?

Seriously, has anyone else noticed that it's mostly overweight/ chunky girls that are most interested in Wicca and calling themself goddesses?

What is it about being physically unappealing that makes these girls empathize with goddesses?

in evolution you dont believe, automaticly are a god hater or a bad person?

why do so many christians take the bible as the truth ?

i know alot of jews that think the old testament is the way ancient, less advanced ppl explained things they didnt understand . to me thats a reasonable use for the bible .

ill make an example , say i lived back then, if my son died i must of made god mad at me
or my house burnt down i made god mad.

when now we know, if my son died he was sick or had a birth defect that caused him to die

my house burnt down because the stove was left on or lighting hit it and it wasnt grounded

to me thats a way i think more ppl should look at the bible

Plumpy Nut is a great food for small malnourished children in Africa. What will older children eat once they have lived long enough to consume "adult" food. I think saving the children is a valiant effort, but are we really looking at the whole picture here? Are the world's resources (especially Africa's) great enough to sustain a larger adult population? I am not ready to say yes. I think this increase in adult population in Africa (and other parts of the world) will obviously put a greater strain on the world's resources and lead to even more child malnourishment and death. Thus the proverbial viscious cycle rears its cliche ugly head. Your thoughts please.

Granted I haven't been looking at answers for very long; however, it seems like the "thumbs down" responses are a lot more frequent on answers related to Christianity. Even those answers that are fairly "neutral".

Do you think that it's just a function of peoples' passion as it relates to religion or that there is a greater tendency to judge others/find other peoples' beliefs "wrong" amongst those that describe themselves as Christian.
