Plumpy Nut is a great food for small malnourished children in Africa. What will older children eat once they have lived long enough to consume "adult" food. I think saving the children is a valiant effort, but are we really looking at the whole picture here? Are the world's resources (especially Africa's) great enough to sustain a larger adult population? I am not ready to say yes. I think this increase in adult population in Africa (and other parts of the world) will obviously put a greater strain on the world's resources and lead to even more child malnourishment and death. Thus the proverbial viscious cycle rears its cliche ugly head. Your thoughts please.

Nothing can save Africa with the population increases they are seeing, sooner or later the population bomb has to hit. There is no way any increase in economy can provide enough jobs or resources to make life pleasant for those people, and the result has to be massive suffering. I don't see any other way out of this mess.
